I miss the cam machines. They require more skill to set up and operate than the CNC's. I'm afraid I've been away from them for too long, don't remember much about them anymore. But this video reminded me of some of the processes, even though it is in spanish. Thanks for posting.
I used to set up these machines back in the 80s. My father worked on them for almost 40 years, he also cut the cams to. It was nostalgic seeing them run again, thank you

Yes we have two tornos ms7 that run for weeks on the same job. There being slowly phased out, will miss them when there gone. Very quick cycle times. The cams are worn which makes the radius on parts tricky.

I have run 100's of thousands of components, mainly small connector pins for the R/C industry on two Bechler AR10's
I used to set ar 10 br 12 and br 20, havent seen anything like this in years. Do they still use these machines?
I worked on AR-10 and Swiss Tornos, Wells-Index, Browne and Sharpe, ACME and New Britain. It's been almost 25 years since I touched one.
