      it really does not matter how you do it, as long as you break it into smaller parts through a simple sort, so the amount of times you handing each book id diminished overall.

      I started sorting everything I buy like this as soon as I get it and it really has sped up the process so much so I wanted to share. Yeah, I had to double check values after someone said I lowballed and tons of this stuff does not sell on ebay or might sell $2 for a lot of 5 or $5 for a lot of 10 etc. I just have to take into account the labor cost when buying a collection like this. If it will take 20-30 hours to make $200-$300 on a collection I just cant spend that much since it wont even cover the cost of labor etc.

    I discovered your channels a few days ago and have been hooked. If I lived in NY I'd come take those JLE's off your hands for a fair price in a heartbeat. Also, you and I share a deep love for the Bronze Age. I think we're about the same age, so Bronze comics are the first comics we ever became aware of. That alone makes 'em special, but the art and stories are so good and unique to that era, which is also very special to guys our age. Anyway I love your content and look forward to your future uploads.

    1) Publisher (DC/Marvel/Other)
    2) Alphabetical range (A-E/F-J/etc) (if there is a dominate title then they get separated out here)
    3) By title
    4) by issue

    @jesselynch1928 Год назад

    Great content. I know you know this but it’s best to get all the comics on top of the table if you can. People will go under the table for action figures but not always comic books as it takes longer to go through a comic book box. I do like that you do not have the boxes of comics jammed packed. That is something dealers do and people will mostly skip those totally full boxes

    • @pop-comics
      @pop-comics  Год назад

      Yeah that is why I try to get the best selling issues on the top, everything else is overstock or cheaper tiles underneath. But yeah I like to keep at least a fist width of space in front of the boxes so you can go through the box, when its over stuffed its just not fun to dig.

    They don’t have much value, but LEGION 89-94, and all those Giffen era Justice League comics, are great reads. The Legion 89 stuff has never been collected, but all 70 issues can be found cheap. Isn’t that Superman Terminator book worth around $10? I’m not sure, but I would be surprised to see it in a dollar bin. The Superman Gen 13 is probably a $4-5. There’s J. Scott Campbell covers in that series that are worth more, probably worth checking

    I been watching your channel for a few years now it's a good learning tool for collectors , my question is do graphic novels and omnibus collection have any value to them

    • @pop-comics
      @pop-comics  Год назад +1

      Some graphic novels and omnibus go out of print and do gain value. But there is a limit to that value since in most cases they are reprints of single issues. For the most part though they stay in print so for the most part they dont go up in value etc. There are some exceptions like Killing Joke 1st print or The New Mutants graphic novel with their first appearance.

    • @pop-comics
      @pop-comics  Год назад +1

      At the end of the day I tend to buy new graphic novels and omnibus if its something I want to read, I prefer that format. And then not so much worry about resell value, I get my value out of them by actually enjoying them etc. Kinda like buying a movie ticket. I just see what I spend on them as a sunk cost. And then all other cases I just buy them if its a great deal etc.
