I would argue that it wasn't used that correctly here. For the sake of story telling I can roll with it, but there's no way an advanced alien race with war ships and such wouldn't have shielding to protect the electronics, some coils or a way to ground out through the hull. Space naturally has plenty of sources of electricity and magnetism, a solar flair for example, or even just stellar emissions in general, or the fields around a planet or gas giant which can also be pretty strong. Just to be space faring race, you would develop ways to protect against that and other forms of radiation. Even on earth alot of critical military gear is shielded. An EMP isn't going to disable our missile silos, why would it disable these advanced alien ships? ------------ Also disable a valid verb here, disable doesn't imply a temporary loss of ability, you shoot an engine off their ships and that engine is disabled. A person becomes "disabled" if they lose their legs or are paralyzed that doesn't mean it's going to get better.
@@TheJadeFistShielding isn't infinite. Doesn't matter how much a system is shielded, at some point the power and intensity of a EMP will overwhelm any shielding. So, it's just a question of how much energy is produced in that EMP?
@@TheJadeFist When it comes to particles, nothing is 100% solid, as particles can move in the empty spaces in and between atoms. At a certain power level, no shielding can stop enough of the charged particles in a EMP to prevent circuits and systems from being fried.
@@johnpauljones9310 You could also use coils and ground it out to the hull, also you can have fuses, maybe you blow the circuit but you can reset it instead of losing all of it. There's just no way, that an advance alien war ship wouldn't have the ability to deal with that kind of attack, just to deal with nature you'd need to develop something, even before combat enters the equation. And sure maybe you can make it super powerful, but at the point you're just melting the hull of the enemy ship first.

I really enjoyed this video!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I've enjoyed the whole, HFY stories, no matter who the narrator is. I'm an old man now.(in my 60s) But I once was a Infantry soldier, in the US Army. I find these tales very entertaining. They help me unwind in the evening. Here in Northern California, everyone is putting in their crops. And at the end of the day, I'm tired. And there is nothing to watch on TV, anymore. Your sci-fi HFY is fantastic to relax to. Know that here, where it is still chilly at night and early mornings. I'm burning a big fat doobie listening to you!!! 👍 I still have a lot to catch up on. ✌️😎👍. Thank you, "Bruahh" 👣
The only thing that bothered me was the use of human colloquialisms. Who knows, maybe the humans left a copy of _The Big Book of English-Language Idioms_ as an additional part of their vaunted legacy. And yes, I liked the story.
This one I’d love to see out to screen. Something like seeing Battlestars, Constitution Class Cruisers, Stardestroyers and more bringing the galaxy together with diplomacy and wits.
Great story, and the text matches the voice! Few spelling errors and minor grammar, but so much better than any other story before. This one I will like!
They have glasses that refill from the bottom when placed on a bar now. It's just technology. Not a surprise or unbelievable, really. Google it, no joke.

Like they say hard times create strong men who then create good times which eventually create weak men which destroy the good times in an endless repeating cycle that has always one defining aspiration. That of individual freedom that once becomes threatened by the PTB becomes an irresistible force that eventually turns the tide again towards freedom, progress, prosperity and so on. But in the interim lots of people a lot just caught in the crossfire inevitably die as a result. But the desire for individual freedom is what sets humans apart in these cycles which now will spread throughout the galaxy in this fictional universe.
So, let me get this straight, humans were able to help reshape a galactic community, leave it, but not have the technology to avoid an (ELE) asteroid to their home world... then expire as a species because they were on a few outpost. Yeah I'm calling male cow patties on that.
The story was very good it was very lazy to say that one single asteroid could destroy an advanced civilisation. At this point we would mining entire worlds and fields of asteroids for resources.
Bah that wasnt some rock that Earth didnt see coming....that was an attack by one of those worlds who still held a grudge....lol...conspiracy theories are also human lol
i cant im crying council about shit its self OMG im crying hahahaha perfect such british type of an explanation hahhaha just waiting for niran to say they told the council to get fucked lmao
Well that sucks for earth 🌍 😞 they should have stayed in the council and they have ships and shields that was tooo easy for earth and humanity to be wiped out alll at once since they held back and beaten the council into submission damn the way of the dinos is how we go sheesh i call horse crap

finally someone correctly using EMP. EMP does not disable electronics. it permanently fries them. all the capacitors and circuitry exploded.
I would argue that it wasn't used that correctly here. Amazing how many drinks can be taken from an empty glass...
Great story, needed to put in idea humans may not be totally gone❤. But human here and there.
The only thing that bothered me was the use of human colloquialisms. Who knows, maybe the humans left a copy of _The Big Book of English-Language Idioms_ as an additional part of their vaunted legacy. And yes, I liked the story.
Enjoyed much, sure some alteration & polishing but what an ending, like the hero melting in the sunset ! Good job !
Really good one. And a good voiceover too.
This one I’d love to see out to screen. Something like seeing Battlestars, Constitution Class Cruisers, Stardestroyers and more bringing the galaxy together with diplomacy and wits.
Love it, full of emotions, almost cry😢 you are awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Really like your stories. 888
I listen at night and your voice soothe’s me to sleep haha thank you
Finally a much more realistic story
When you push someone to the edge that is the moment that you should fear them the most
I enjoy the stories relaxes me
Great work🎉🎉🎉
Good stuff!!
We're humans. The impossible we can do immediately, miracles might take a little longer.
A very good story.
loved the story
I like the story! Great job and thank you.
Awesome story, thanks.
sounds so exciting

Can we have a playlist for the galactic council in “chronological order”
How many times did his drink refill itself like magic? I want one of those glasses
It's space sh*t.... but I'd like 1 too!

Great story.
GREAT STORY
That Canadian battle armour (what other country is going to pain it red and white) is great!
Great story it's just a couple of commercials it's no problem to hear something like this❤
Good story
Love the story, I wanted a better ending, like human's are alive ocupaid in reconstruction of their new planet.
Thank you for a good story.
Hehe I’ll do it. I like this story.
I truly like the stories they are uplifting
Love the story!
So the humans used the big EMP gun. ZAAAAP, everything gone, no engines. No weapons no shields, all destroyed with one shot.
Yep, you want to buy my ocean front property in Arizona?
take a shot every time someone does something "conspiratorially"
A bit of the story missing in the middle.
I liked this story!!
Not bad, but humanity would not up and 'walk away' from a galactic community.
I love these stories but your going overboard with the adds. I dont mind a few but one ever 3 to 5 minutes makes it almost impossible to get into it.
Poor you, I am lucky to only get one ad in the middle 😊

5:15 😅
Love this story big change from other stories respected just different names.
take a shot every time the ai voice says „a slow grin“ or better don’t, because you‘d be dead
After the EMP fried their life supports, the aliens would have died from suffocation.
Suffocation would likely not be instantaneous; there would be time to "turn tail"
I like this story. Are you AI

Good but not great. Terrans had become galactic , spread out over a number of worlds, they would not have disappeared.
I like the story but at 12 minutes I have to quit. Too much ads. I understand why but it interrupts the flow of the story.
There chunks of conversation missing. Example 5:50

Maybe you didn’t have a secure and reliable connection. The closed caption is done by RUclips. Take that up with them.
this is an example like jesus like in this video ,but jesus is the humans
I got about halfway through. these ads are just ridiculous it makes it not worth listening to this
How do you turn tail and run; when all your systems are fried?
Sloppy
Ads at beginning or end. Not every 5 minutes
"Unbreakable", "Indomitable" Spirit - could you, for the love of Bob, increase your vocabulary !!!!
