I feel the blessing of reading the book of revelation for me is knowing that we are living that book. I've never understood the book in entirety but I know beyond a doubt we are living the. pages of revelation.
Once again Pastor JD Farag has brought the truth. The church is mostly not REVERENT, and is not humbled and is not in awe to the Word of God. I must confess, it's easy for me to be that way in this day and age, because of my drifting away moments and carnal selfish nature and other things that I want to watch on RUclips in the mornings with my coffee, that might seem more interesting than watching a sermon. It's hard to push the start button and let God speak to me, convict me and teach me His ways. The whole battle is that we fear that God is going to ask us to do something for Him, and of course the first thing that we fear is that God is going to ask us to change some things and we fight that as we want' to hold onto certain things, that may not honor God. We want to live in a compromise position with God, but alas God does not compromise on His most important things especially when it comes to the things that are connected to the salvation of souls. Books and message on sin don't sell very well. None of us want to hear that we are the problem and are the reason that we battle life's problems more than we should. And it's because we are not as solid in our walk as we should, be, and it's because we are not spending enough time with God. That's my issue and is the reason that I have moments of depression ups and downs that the enemy can use to bring the little things, life's problems into an oppression. The seducing of the believer down the rabbit hole drifting further and away from God. The motive of the enemy to get us to think and to believe that "God is holding out on you", so that we will complain which God calls sin and fall further and more deeply into sin, so to not only destroy our relationship with God, but to destroy our lives. I don't want any part of that slide. I love to have peace in my life and more abundant. But...the amazing thing is that after I make the right choice and click on these messages every week, and about seven minutes into the message God starts to bring my heart and mind to His REVELATION as all of my thoughts, worries, doubts and selfish motives start to drift away and I am quieted in my spirit, and I become finally open to what God has for me. I feel an overwhelming spirit of the Lord surrounding me and immediately I am lifted into the presence of God in His glorious throne room. I become repented, changed and honest and my motives are not on myself anymore, I become broken and my heart becomes burdened for the lost, my heart is for those that I love and for those that I know that are around me in my life, those who don't know the saving grace and redemption of the Lord. My resentments go away, my complaining and hurts disappear, my justification of my excuses are no more. Then, God begins to speak to me about the change that He wants to bring, taking me out of my selfish comfort zones, molding me and making me into the man that He wants me to be. I know it's a process, and it doesn't happen overnight, but I also know that God LOVES ME and that He knows that I am simple and but dust, He is so patient and loving. He is such a good and faithful God. He love's me so much more than I can ever know. I need to to love HIM more, that's the whole issue. I am like most believers, I want the blessing, protection and happy life, but I leak away from the presence of God when things are going well, and then run to His throne of mercy seeking an answer, when life come's against me. I need to spend more time with God, when I am not just in the wilderness and desert. Father forgive me, and help me to be more like you, and to become more disciplined with a "Less of me, more of you" mindset. To be cognizant of the Holy Spirit speaking to me, to have the desire to LISTEN to you more often, and to not just trust you but to OBEY you, to LOVE you not just in my thoughts, but mostly in my actions, to be prayerfully living in your BLESSED HOPE, and your WORD,. I'm asking you Father God and surrendering to you my life this day, to make me a better man, to go before me and make the way in all things, and to ask you daily for an opportunity to speak to other's about you, to bless me as promised, and to share your love, mercy and the truth of salvation to others, as time is very short. It's incredible to think that he saw the great tribulation and then Jesus' second coming too. I suspect that many of the tribulation saints will turn to Jesus immediately following the rapture. Others will come to Jesus through the teaching of the 144,000 from the tribes of Israel.

I just love the book of Revelation and am a student of eschatology since 1973. Let me share this...and I could be wrong. IF the ELDERS represent the church, they were seated in heaven, having on white raiment & crowned BEFORE John was “caught up” ( RAPTURE & BEAMA SEAT happened ALREADY...Somewhere AFTER chapter 3 but, BEFORE chapter 4). It also let’s me know that THE CHURCH will know what is going on on the earth DURING the Tribulation ( as the seals were open, they were there to see it). Lastly, Revelation 3 closes with a note to each church “...he that hath an ear, let him hear WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES”; But, Revelation 13:9 closes ...If any man hath an ear, let him hear. Where is....WHAT THE SPIRIT SAYS TO THE CHURCHES? Why, because she is no longer ON THE EARTH. As JV McGee says, “she’s gone OFF THE AIR, because she has GONE UP IN THE AIR" This is the time of the Laodicean church to REPENT ( the tares among the wheat). Those who straddle the fence; those whose hearts are religious but NOT RIGHT with HIM. GOD is now giving that “last second” church time to make up her mind to be hot or cold....lukewarm (being religious....WILL NOT DO. People WANT to know the truth, they can FEEL there's something not quite right. Is all unbelievers even from centuries past who didn't confess Jesus as Lord rise from death state to have opportunity to accept Jesus during tribulation period ? I don't know..any thoughts please.

There are quite a few quotes from the Book of Enoch in Revelation and in the gospels. It's worth a read.
