Relax to the soothing sounds of Solstheim as Dusty, the silt strider calls, bugs chirp in the distance, and warm wind blows across the land.
Sound of home, as happy as I am to return to Morrowind, I feel sad, seeing Vvardenfell in such a state, I know this is Solsthiem, but the damage can be imagined by just being there, and hearing that the Silt Striders are endanger, makes it even more tragic
So many N'was never played Morrowind to know the sounds :( so sad....
At least fine f’lahs like ourselves can truely appreciate
And many do not know this is the last silt strider

@@johnmarston3076 Uh, they can find out by talking to the merchant right next to her (the silt strider is named Dusty and it’s a she). I always like to explore the environments in games as much as I possibly can before moving on and that includes talking to the NPCs as much as possible
My dog goes ballistic every time she hears this noise. It was hilarious when I was playing the dlc one day she started howling when she heard the silt strider. She is white Sheppard and sounds just like a wolf howling with the silt strider.
Aww that's so cute! We've got a couple of smaller dogs and they will sometimes bark or whine whenever they hear the dogs in Fallout or Skyrim. Haven't heard them howl though, that's hilarious!
Haha that’s funny. Now I can’t play this game and hear the silt strider call without imagining a dog howling 🤣🤣 One time when my dog was in my room when I was exploring Solstheim and I was extremely close to Dusty the silt strider, the weird noise had her looking around the room like “what was that?” so I moved her head toward the screen and had my character just stand there next to Dusty and my dog just kept cocking her little head to the side trying to understand what the heck that noise was
When I first went on this island I was pretty scared of this noise lol until I found out it was just silt striders. Nice btw! Love this!!!

The distant Silt Strider howls are hauntingly beautiful.
Great that they decided to add the same silt strider call from ES III: Morrowind to Solstheim in ES V. It brings so many good memories of fast travel not existing and thus me walking for hours on weird roads full of weird hostile creatures, and suddenly hearing the comforting call of the silt strider in the distance

@@sorchatheraven daggerfall (only one worth speaking about) had it. Needed it with the size of the world. Also time was a major factor to your playthru. Could fail quests if you took too long traveling or you got sidetracked w other sht

3:41 I've always wondered what those deep groans are, I think there are even deeper too, probably they are ash spawns but you can hear them in the snow parts of solstheim
This is the groan of a silt strider called Dusty. She's the last silt strider alive because the eruption of the great vulcano almost wiped everyone of them out.
I listen to this almost every night before falling asleep. The silt strider noises just calm me down somehow. I like a lot of your other videos, but this one is my favourite!

I can promise bro there's was video where this sound was compared to satanic-hell sounds,and the most scariest thing was comments like "it so beautiful" or "i like how its sounds,its Fantastic" or "its the best thing i heard",and it was russian comments,what the heck,i cant find this vid now,and it still chase after me

Not exactly. Silt striders were endangered in Skyrim, not extinct yet
