From what I've been able to gather, the price of toys goes up in the mid to late 00's for 2 reasons: Price of Plastics and Safety Concerns. The price of plastics stuff is pretty self explanatory, Oil costs quadruple from 2000 to 2008. The second reason being after they found lead in a lot of Chinese products (you may remember the toothpaste scare specifically) including Toys, manufactures had to instate more strict inspections which increased the cost. That's why you see such a jump in price over a short period of time. Oil went down in price, but once they knew people would buy at a higher price point, they're not gonna drop it. Love your collection, it's so cool to see how this stuff has changed over the years.

I was going through old toyfare magazines last night, and I happened to see the advertisement solicitation image for the balrog action figure. As I looked at the page, I was remembering how cool that toy was but how I wasn't able to get it back in the day when it came out. So when I turned on your video this evening and saw it at number one, it was trippy cuz I was just thinking about the thing last night. I can also confirm by looking in the magazine, that it was indeed $100 retail 😜 keep up the good work man!

RUclips is not a job and Google can axe the payouts at anytime so those guys better get a back up plan to pay the bills. Anyway, I have the PITT BAF figure and I don't have any oily feel to it? It is hands down my favorite figure out of my entire collection and I never get tired of looking at him. Your channel is my new favorite so keep it up.

In English, Spanish, Japanese, and Portuguese. I don't understand 2 of these languages but enjoy them immensely. Your reviews are very entertaining. You seem to try to collect an entire series, then move on to another interest. I agree on how expensive collecting has become the lo ast 4-5 years. I also wonder when will it end. I like the ones I collect and have a great time looking at them. It makes one feel good. Again, thanks for your passion and sharing of your figures.

Cool, even though I don't collect all of those lines, I can appreciate them. Possible solution for your leaky PVC on your Pitt is the PVC sealer they use for car interiors. I have an awesome Pitt statue, and a big selection of Marvel statues really like them. Finally someone who actually owes a Dragon Man (this is over a $1000 and $700 with a missing wing on ebay) I would have thought the Beast would have been in your top 12.

This was a great idea for a video. I can imagine it is tough as hell to have a collection that big and narrow it down to a list of 12 personal favorites. After seeing you have so much trouble changing parts out on Plastic Man, I could see you doing a future video based on figures that are frustrating to pose, easily breakable or just frustrating to own in general.
Plastic Man was my FAVE growing up and is so rarely mentioned. I love seeing the toy in this video and how and why it made your top 12. Plastic Man movie someday ;)

+kim hadley here's the thing and you might not like this advice my old house looked like 40-year-old virgin and I dreamed of having a toy room like the one that I have now so I stopped buying toys save my money build my dream house with my dream toy room in it and then when it was done I went on eBay and bought all the toys that I missed.... toys are so much fun to buy but then we keep buying them and we don't have any place to put them then it's not fun anymore so I built a room that would never fill up now it will be fun to buy toys forever..... sometimes you have to stop doing what you love to get what you really want

Wow ! That Balrog figure is amazing ! I don't know where you bought it, but I can't find that figure for about a $ 100. As a matter of fact, I only saw one used in Ebay , and it was going for $ 250 in the auction. The Dragon Man is rare and expensive, but it is superb. I only have the Pitt baf and the Deluxe The Creech figure, but I would love to get the Mr Fantastic Figure, and maybe the Plastic Man. The Tenth figure looks very nice too. The Pitt figure is still my favorite figure. Toy Biz did amazing figures back then. Oh, I almost forgot. Over 9000 figures ! I imagine that you have a lot of the figures in storage, because that is a lot of figures. I have to look at your collection. I saw your Spawn collection, and I was blown away. It is a shame that you did not have time to show better your Wetworks figures. I have several of those figures. They were my first figures as well as the Spawn figures. I got the from Amazon and Ebay, because I did not start collecting figures in the 90s. I started collecting about 8 years ago. You go to Comic Con every year ? Wow ! Wow ! That Balrog figure is amazing ! I don't know where you bought it, but I can't find that figure for about a $ 100. As a matter of fact, I only saw one used in Ebay , and it was going for $ 250 in the auction.
The Dragon Man is rare and expensive, but it is superb. I only have the Pitt baf and the Deluxe The Creech figure, but I would love to get the Mr Fantastic Figure, and maybe the Plastic Man. The Tenth figure looks very nice too. The Pitt figure is still my favorite figure. Toy Biz did amazing figures back then.
Oh, I almost forgot. Over 9000 figures ! I imagine that you have a lot of the figures in storage, because that is a lot of figures. I have to look at your collection. I saw your Spawn collection, and I was blown away. It is a shame that you did not have time to show better your Wetworks figures. I have several of those figures. They were my first figures as well as the Spawn figures. I got the from Amazon and Ebay, because I did not start collecting figures in the 90s. I started collecting about 8 years ago.
