My silkie is going to (hopefully) hatch her first clutch of eggs by the end of the month, I'm so excited :D
Their meat, skin, fat, innards and even bones are ink black. I've seen "black chicken" in the Chinese market. Doesn't look appetizing to me. I think I prefer to see them alive and clucking.

I have a chinese silkie ive had her for about 3 years and she loves babies she gets broody all the time and she has a chick but i think its a boy :(
