Just plain badass
In 1972, my dad was looking for a good deal on a new El Camino. He liked the styling, but that fall there was only one left at the dealers in Winnipeg. It was a basic model wth a six cylinder engine, two-speed Powerglide automatic, AM radio, power steering and brakes. The only dress-up options on the outside were whitewall tires and full wheel covers. I remember how the fenders didn’t line up with the leading edge of the doors. He bought it just days before Halloween. What was its color? Bright orange with a black vinyl interior! True story.
where is it now?
@@SunsetSesh It was sold to a neighbour in 1992.
@@fredkelbert1913 shame hopefully it’s still in good hands

I do not trust anyone with a man bun.
I have this exact car that needs to to be put back together since I did the frame off rotisserie. All new parts and products and every original part is powder costed in Black. 72 Spring Poly Green(Money Green), All Black Interior (mint condition) 15 inch Cragars/TA tires, Every part new or powder coated, 454 std bore, extra 350 4bolt mains, extra Keith Black motor, Muncie 4speeds, 350 and 400 spare rebuilt transmissions. 12 Bolt posi posi rear wn,toonsmm headers et., et
Too bad they put that Monte Carlo dash in it. This guy always over sells the gauges and highly optioned. It had to be an SS to get a 454, again, too bad its not the high performance version. Still I like the car.
New to El Caminos, could you explain how its not the performance version with a 454?
What does the air cleaner seal rest on when hood is closed? That’s not a factory hood. But it is nice
Customer who bought the car about 3 years ago has never reported any issue with it :D
Nice.
Insurance gas and people who drove these cars and crashed and wrecked them. Enjoying them had insurance companies putting higher ownership insurance on muscle cars.
It's the same thing as a Chevelle its on a Chevelle wagon frame it's a Chevelle pick up truck
Impracticaljokersfan01 just for the carpenter's and brick layers and construction workers who wanted a chevelle or muscle car and a pick up at the same time i prefer an automatic el Camino with a bench seats and a column shift.
When i looked it up it said you couldn’t really Identify if it’s a clone or not.
There are some really interesting points that make it so that you can. But they’re just little tidbits that have gone to the wayside over the years. For example, if you can identify factory remote mirrors, a factory installed light in the glove box and if the (I believe) brake lines are the thicker ones, it’s a factory SS. But of course if things like that are replaced, removed or aftermarket installed, it’s almost impossible to tell.
nice!!!
😁🤗🤓🙀
Does this guy Flannigan build these cars himself?
Fleming, lol! Sometimes we buy them and rebuild completely, sometimes we buy them and just finish them, and sometimes they come to us perfectly ready to rock!
Hey what's that car valued at?
A non cowl induction hood
Is that a pony tail?
Douche knot
Why riches don't buy nice things?
Wasting money on crap 918 or p1 drives fast without any enjoyment
If i own it, I'll start it up on weekends and just listen to it
lmao.....hood pins on my kids. Killing me
WTF.... a cowl induction air cleaner on a non cowl induction hood....LMAO.. and labeled "cowl induction" too... Camero steering wheel and Monte Carlo dash, and I didn't see and shinny rotors behind the front wheels... drum brakes perhaps? and what the hell kind of hairdo is that???
WanderingSeneca the hair in your profile picture is on the same level
NOT ORIG. DASHBOARD...PROB..OUT OF A NOVA.
bad camera
