TCDDIY do you ever find that the chain straps or sc straps cut into your neck? There are a few tops that i have made where i have to tie the straps tight so that it fits nicely but then it cuts into my neck. I find that i also have to tie a double knot as when do a single knot it comes undone when i take a deep breath out. Has this ever happened to you?
Hi! I haven't experienced that, but you can always do a single crochet or half double crochet row after the chain to make it thicker.😊
I've made this twice now and I'm having the same issue my mandala part is ruffled instead of flat if I buy the pattern will it be better to figure out what I'm doing wrong

I love this! I have tried to make a couple of times but the mandala design keeps coming out really ruffle-y and not sitting right when I wear it. Have u got any advice? Could it be the yarn or hook I’m using or could it be something else? Please let me know as I would love to perfect this design it’s so beautiful

Oh no! So sorry for the late reply, we've been pretty swamped. 😪 I don't remember the pattern off the top of my head, but you can do fewer increases for the last row.
For Example: if in the video I say increase into every 5th you can try increasing into every 7th or 8th to keep it more flat. 😬 Hope that helps!

Hello!! I know this is an old video. But do you by chance remember the hook size you were using?? I'm having trouble with mine looking bunched up and not laying flat like yours. thank you!!
Hiya! If I remember correctly I think I used a 5 mm hook. And I think that the last row was giving a lot of people issue with bunching up, so try adding more double crochets in between the increases just to make it flatten out. 😊

I've made it over five times and I still can't get it right😢
If I was going to make this for someone else and didn't have the ability to measure them how many chains in between the cups would I need on average for each cup size?
Unfortunately I don't know that. Good luck though! Anything else let me know!
@@TCDDIY I got the cups made and when I was doing the bottom things weren't lining up right. I am going to try it again and see if I can get it to work.
@@shaylastillman3666 when going in with the middle chain I think it would help if you kept the chain an odd number so you can put the pendant in the middle.
Maybe buying a bra that's the size of the person and using that as a guideline?

Mine keeps curling up instead of laying flat :(
Hmmm, If yours keeps curling for your last row you can increase into a different stitch to have less stitches to keep it from ruffling. I'm sorry I don't remember the pattern off the top of my head, but if I said to increase into 3rd try increasing into the 5th or 6th stitch instead-or a different one if needed. 😁 that should help with the curling. ♥

5 chains then a slip stitch, there isn't any chains after adding the pendant
It's up to you, all depends on how low you want your pendant and how large the pendant loop is. 😊 if yours looks close to mine i'd recommend the Chain 5 like Kaylah said. 😊
