There is a saying that a monk can only achieve success in spirituality if that monk has overcome his own desires. One can easily see that the monk has overcome greed, anger, and hate and is just filled with compassion, love, composure, and completely grounded. No wonder why spirits ask for forgiveness in front of him
I'm pretty sure this monk has the best verbal English around his fellows monk in Himalaya

I would love to see him speak with a catholic exorcist to see what similar stories they may have
I highly doubt the Catholic Church would ever be willing to sit down and have a serious discussion with exorcists from other religions because they would see that as validating another religion by publicly acknowledging that people who are not ordained Catholic priests can successfully perform exorcisms. They would never do anything that would tell people that it doesn't really matter which religion you belong to because they want to keep up their tradition of frightening and guilt-tripping people into following only their religion.

If you want to see shapeshifting spirits like the Duende, Aswang , Kapreh, the white lady , doppelganger spirit , etc go to the Philippines deep into the mountain and jungle areas. You will see all the spirits you’re looking for. But you might not come back in one piece. They actually even go as far as catching some of them in cages like in Bicol , Philippines and they even befriend beings like the Duende
Those which you mentioned here are not spirits but demons.
As spirits does not shapeshift itself.
We are living in a world where some beings were born in different ways. Rather than feeling compassion towards them, we tend to think they are trying to harm us. Buddhism treats all sentient beings equally as if every sentient has the potential to reach enlightenment. There are stories where buddhist monks went into retreat and encountered all these demons and spirits. Instead of destroying them, they convert them into Dharma protector.
I hear similar stories from around the world, obviously from RUclips comment sections, videos, mythical stories, and so on. Even in Nepal, my home country, I have heard of beings in jungles who possess humans. I don't have the correct word to describe it but we call it "Sato gayo". "gayo" means "gone". "Sato gayo" means fear and shock deeply penetrate the mind of the person and he is in a weak mental state. I don't know, maybe, the correct word is "Awestruck"? Anyway, People who are possessed by these beings usually die of such a mental state.
There must be a certain truth to it. otherwise, why do similar stories, and myths exist around the world!!
if no one has ever came back alive then who saw them or claim they are there, how can someone gurantee that they are there and the cause of death/missing are them. just a curiosity

@Riga pega I didn't disrespect at all, Lord Buddha is considered as reincarnation of Lord Vishnu in Hinduism. Many concept if Buddism and even matras are similar to Hinduism, I was only quoting that. Being from Bihar ,once which was the center of Buddism philosophy and even today it is one of the main pilgrimage and we respect that. 🙏

@jigmet skalzang I am not sure you are worshiping or not ,may be I an wrong. But I have visited many Buddist temple in London, Japan and they have Ganpati, and other gods on their temple. May be they don't worhship ,but they consider it auspicious , and they are also known by different name. I don't mean to offend you or something, it's just my observation.
Deities are not bounded by religions, our interpretations are. Lord Maha Kala Bhairava and Lord Yamantaka represent the same Supreme Consciousness, differing only in the way we, mere mortals, interpret.

Ppl do not know anything about devi devtas, some ppl are saying hindu devi devtas, there is no such thing as hindu devi devta, devi devtas are free from any sect and religion, anybody can take their help through offerings, and in india many sects were later assembled in hindu fold, every culture has devi devtas every country has and every place has it own devi devtas for ex mahakal diety is not shiva, some tantric devi devtas are common everywhere

The interviewer becomes a young man when he starts asking about getting angry and tough.
Covid was horrible. The first strain i had gave me pneumonia, and I coughed ceaselessly and coughed up blood. I vomited blood, i could hardly eat, chills and shaking in the evening and fevers all day. It was awful and I was alone. I told myself, w/e if I die but i'll try to survive.
The second strain I got a several months later in july and it was less severe in some of those (no coughing hardly), but I lost my sense of taste, smell, and was horribly dizzy all the time. Later strains were less effective against me but i still lose my taste and smell and it never really recovered. I can get awfully tired. The disease has weakened me pretty bad. I will never get a vaccine. NEVER!
So this monk in this video is a Rimpoche. Never heard or seen before. Maybe from Ladakh side.
Well i am from Sikkim and we follow Mahayana form of Buddhism, quite similar to Ladskhi's one. I suppose. Maybe u should interview some other Rimpoches like from Sikkim side or Arunachal side.
