But yes, tons of people commented on an unrelated video because that video's comments were disabled. Like...the comments section was disabled for a reason...
And in the comments section for that video on FB, everybody commented, despite them specifically asking for just "likes" as a show of support... *Facepalm*

Being in a wheelchair, I carry a backpack on the back of my chair with much of the same things. I am going to pottery barn and look at their backpacks. I really like Abbies. I've learned so much from your family.Thank you for sharing your lives.

I think everyone has things they carry with them everyday. Mine are: wallet, tide to go stain remover, hand sanitizer, cell phone, ear buds, a pen & lip gloss!
Elizabeth Duncan Hans sanitizer is a must! Love that more people are carrying that in their bags! I’ve just started carrying earbuds especially when I take the train. Helps with unwanted conversations 😂

@Elizabeth Duncan No, hand sanitizer for me! I’m allergic to the alcohol in in and as soon as anyone in my vicinity uses it, I will have an asthma attack! It’s a horrible allergy because that stuff is everywhere. It soap and water or wipes for me.

During the summer I have sunglasses and sun screen and in winter a spare sweater if I need an additional layer as well as scarf and gloves

These stay in the same bag so I just need to pick it up and go without worrying.

In my backpack is: pads, wipes, disposal bags, cleaning wipes, bed pads, whole change of clothes special cup, reusable straw, cutlery, blue badge, wheelchair gloves, sling for using with a hoist.

Yeah, any of thatvstuff is none of our buisness and not our thing to judge about. Theyvseem lika awesome people and awesome parents. And for any old misstakes we have all done some and will do more. And only people who can judge you for them are the people affected by them.

I was never officially diagnosed (my parents said “we don’t want a label! She is who she is with or without a special word!”) but it is heavily suspected I’m on the spectrum. I tend to keep squishy things in my bag to stim with (I love squeezing soft things) love you guys! Great family!
I'm a grown woman, lab science student and I carry a toy shark from lego with me in stressful situations, the mouth opens if you flip its back fin so it's a bit like jaws when I take my exams 😂 a bit weird but I'm not even remotely ashamed of it.

My nephew has autism as well, and I have been loving this channel for a while now. They’re truly a beautiful family, and Abigail is the sweetest girl. As I see with my nephew, life can be hard with a special needs child, but they’re wonder parents and Isaiah is a great brother. I also work with special ed and am going to be a speech/language pathologist assistant. :)

how do you make your wipes?
@@jaytotheell Viva Vantage paper towels are the best but I haven't been able to find the ones I really love lately so I've been using Bounty. The cheaper ones just fall apart. What I do is this...
I use a VERY sharp knife to cut the paper towel roll in half then pull out the tube in the middle.
Mix 3 cups of water
1 & 1/2 Tbsp olive oil
1 & 1/2 Tbsp of your favorite liquid soap (I use Dr Bronner's Castile soap or EO Soap that I get on Amazon )
4-6 drops of lavender essential oil or tea tree or a mix of the two. Tea tree is great for preventing urinary tract infections.
I use a giant Tupperware cake keeper to mix it all together. Dunk the paper towels and then turn them over to soak the other side. I carry them in my purse in a ziplock bag.

Thank you! I've been making them for over 10 years now. Aside from the fact that I know what the ingredients are, I love that they don't smell like baby wipes. My son is 12 now so for me & my head, not smelling like a baby works. And they work out WAY cheaper!

I am the kind of person who always has to feel prepared, and I used to teach marching band, so the backpack I used to carry for that would have so many random useful things in it. I used carabiners to attach things like an extra pair of shoes and my gallon water jug to the outside of it. Now as a teacher, my emergency classroom bag is similar. I always have wipes, tissues, garbage bags and grocery bags, bandaids, etc. in the bag just in case.

Your channel truly is “real life education for special needs” and brings so much awareness to our society about valuable things. Not like the other you tube “influencers” who provide absolutely NO quality to the table. As a teacher, I have learned more from watching your channel than I EVER did in any of my university courses or even being in the classroom for 25 years. I learn so much from the content you guys work so hard to provide, and I thank you for teaching me! I have formed some amazing bonds with my autistic kiddos now that I understand more. Thank you Isaiah!! I had been wondering about what's inside the bag for sooooo long. I also have everyday carry stuff. Aside from a notepad and pencil to write or draw in, I have my sensory bag which has things that help me through the day, like colored dice, a glittery shaker, a fuzzy ball (former cat toy lol), a pipe cleaner, some glittery transparent elastic bands, some bubbles, a little bit of stretchy sand in a plastic tube, a chewie, a vibrating plush, and a squishy scented toy. I discovered your channel a while back and it has helped me a LOT accept my diagnosis (BP2, ADHD, GAD, OCD) and be comfortable stimming in public and carrying my bag with me (so many meltdowns avoided). Thank you so much for raising awareness regarding neurodiversity.

My daughter has so much more in her everyday bag. She has a bit more of the medical side of things though. She has a feeding tube, and an uncontrolled seizure disorder. Plus she’s still very young so we have all the typical diaper bag items (diapers, wipes, and all that Jazz) but we also have to caring around extra supplies to change her ng tube should she pull it out, tons of medication, her special food that goes through her pump, and her actual pump. I can not wait for the day we can cute it down to what Abbie is carrying around in her bag. Her bag is also absolutely adorable! Also we share a name! Love watching you guys everyday and seeing all the growth even from you first starting the channel!

I have 5 kiddos and basically my purse becomes our every day bag holder of stuff and things. Lol my youngest is 3 he has his own tiny backpack he carries his diapers wipes and cup in but everyone else just asks "mom carey this... " And in the purse it goes. I always have my everyday bag, packed with hand gel, wipes, tissues, hair ties, a snack, paper + Pens and basic meds. Normally I'm prepared for other people who need something, especially when I'm working respite, you never know what you're gonna be needing!

Just wanted to share my love and support for you guys. I came across this channel a few months ago during a really difficult time in my life. I was laid off from my job and struggling but your videos, your family and Abbie's story, inspired me so much that I started looking into behavioral health jobs. I recently began working at an ABA therapy based preschool for children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. It's something I'm so passionate about and go home each day feeling like I've made a difference. And that's because of your family and I can't thank you enough for it. Your realness, unconditional love, and determination opened up a whole new door for me.

I always have my inhaler (I have asthma), a spacer (because I refuse to use the inhaler without), my weighted lap blanket, a small plushy, my purse, hand sanitiser, and sunscreen (because I’m pale AF and live in Australia). I also refuse to leave the house without my phone and noise cancelling headphones.
I’d like to mention, I’m 18 and my every day bag is a Disney Princess backpack 😂😂😂

My son always carries noise canceling headphones and these little magnetic beads I found on amazon. Oh and a compass. He says the compass is just incase we ever get lost in the woods 😂

As someone with a disability that can’t drive (so I can’t leave some of my things in the car), my everyday carry has all but the kitchen sink in it! Lol! 🙄Unfortunately due to many health issues, it has to have certain things in it, but I’m constantly getting into trouble from family for carrying too much! I do keep trying to reduce it, but I guess the anxiety of needing something & not having it with me gets the better of me! 😳
