An original Paint job by Von Dutch ... WOW ... To us Car Guys , It would be like owning a Rembrandt ...Priceless ... Great to have You as the caretaker of this piece of History ...
MY UNCLE DID THE MACHINE WORK ON THAT ENGINE IN 1967 I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER SEE THAT CAR AGAIN BEFORE I PASS IN THREE OR FOUR YEARS THIS HAS COMPLETED ME
Wow nice man!!
Wow nice man!!
You are the man from your uncle. I'd like to shake your hand.
My uncle is the one that polish the Chrome after your uncle assembled it. My uncle still cries over that car
@@blackisback74 are you joking? like your not fucking with us your uncle really did work on that car?
I grew up working on old classics. Because of you Danny and your show, i bought myself a 61 Buick Lesabre 401 nailhead. 4 door and currently restoring the interior. Thanks for your show and inspiration
Loving these vids of the counts personal collection!! Keep em coming please.
Finally! A real traditional rod! This car maxes out the cool meter! I'm still drooling.
Great history behind the hot rod. Love seeing someone keeping them alive.
A awesome true story for a really great looking old school hotrod!!! Gotta love the old school street rods they where the best looking cars still to this day!!!! I hate that thier not to many of them around now days. Count thanks for preserving a true hotrod!!!
GREAT VID COUNT! AS A HOT WHEELS REDLINE COLLECTOR, I KNEW IT WAS VERY CLOSE TO MATTEL'S 1976 HW STREET RODDER AS SOON AS I SAW IT....BUT DIDN'T KNOW THE HISTORY. I THINK THE VALUE JUST WENT UP! CHEERS BROTHER...KEEP 'EM COMING!
Danny...I have been following you not for so long but at least for the past 8 years now. I should say, this baby is a gem man!. Preserve her as she deserves it. No Tesla can replace these bad boys! :)
I've been into hot rods since the mid 70's, always loved flames the best as they never go out of style, and that car is living proof. Truly a stunning car!
Awesome! I have played with the black version and the white version of that Hot Wheels car! Awesome to see the REAL DEAL still exists and you're PRESERVING IT! Rock on Danny!
I love the fact mr. That there are people like you in the world that preserve history. Im in north carolina about to go see the wheels through time museum in the Maggie valley today and seen kounts showroom last year and loved it. Thank you brother for giving the history on that fine ass roadster
it is such a great thing keeping this piece of hot rodding history the way it should be.
First off, Dan I love these videos. 2nd off I'm 39 and know who Von Dutch is and thank you for saving it. Thank you for saving it and sure as hell thank you for using it/enjoying it. I'm a firm believer cars are cars and should be enjoyed but that being a Von Dutch needs to be both enjoyed and saved. SURE AS HELL Thank you for sharing it.
Kilroy again. Im 61. Had hotwheels. Thanks again
Danny thank you for sharing this story and a huge thank you for being the caretaker of the car that Hot Wheels made one of my favorite castings that I still own to this day. I can't think of a better caretaker than you. You rock brother!
Incredible collectible and glad it belongs to you Count!
Had this hot wheels. My absolute favorite! Growing up when asked what paint I would put on any car was black with flames always thinking of this car. Insane he ended up with the actual car!?! I still want it!
Thanks Danny! Showing us your cars is great the show doesnt highlight enough of what's in the showroom there, each time I see a shot of it i almost shit my pants it's such an awesome collection. Keep showing us your rides they're nuts !
Danny. Maybe hopefully u and the Hot Wheels empire can make a deal and duplicate some of your popular, most precious cars into Hot Wheels form...first buyer here!!🙋♂️
Second buyer here!! 😁
3rd buyer
Maaaann that's a great idea 💡👍
Mate u do good to keep the old stuff alive, thank you Danny,
I think I still have my Hot Wheels version of this packed away. I think I also had one in white.
I really love your show and your cars! I don’t try to diss you, but I think showcasing your cars without the engine sound or reving those beautiful V8 engines, is like going to the Mac Donald’s for a salad and a water! Please let us hear something Count!
It's in the the showroom man. We don't get to hear it
Driveway Marvels but we should! As much as I love cars, the sounds makes me love classics! Nowadays cars are electric with sound boxes!
A fantastic machine and that 327 just makes it even better.
Beautiful car Danny your a true car enthusiast love your stunning collection
That’s awesome. We have 1927 Ford T-Bucket Roadster, painted fire engine red. It’s outfitted with a 383 Stroker with a polished Weiand 8-71 Supercharger, 2 4 barrel Holly Ultra Dominators, TCI Pro-X transmission, B&M Quick Silver Shifter, MSD 8362K Street Fire Ignition system. Running on Cragar Wheels with Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pros at the rear and skinnies on the front.
What’s neat is we have the exact twin air filter stacks on ours that Danny has on his. We love them for that classic vintage look. Even though you can’t see over them. LOL
You have so many great Cars I love that 1932 Ford and your old Truck WOW!! thanks for sharing
This is too cool! Being a car guy and a hot wheels collector myself, this is just great!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
I'm a Ford guy. If it's not a restoration or "tribute" restomod (same car, today's mfr's capabilities), there's nothing wrong with following the grand tradition of putting together whatever works to make your rod run...
Thank you for sharing I love these vids. Keep em coming.
Danny I'm so glad to see you on youtube I can literally listen to you BS about cars and your collection all day. Hope you keep these videos comin brotha!
So cool you didn't wreck it. It is a peice of art not only for the paint but for the build man. Your taste is always good so you could have made it better but u can't restomod without wrecking. Like Indian Larry's bikes, mechanical appreciation for the period man.
BEST DAM CAR SHOW AROUND😊
Love your videos I learn every time more and more about my old muscle cars💖💖💖🙏🏻
So Cool to see this installment! I found about 25 years ago what I believe is the second edition of this 32 roadster(hot wheels) in white with real riders! Hot Wheels has just released the 50th Anniversary of Larry Woods' Hot Wheels designed vehicles, including the Street Rodder. So Cool!!!
The Count is one cool cat. I totally dig the show.
Those flames are genius. .. especially at the time von Dutch did them ..
How FUN!!! Thank you for documenting that great hot rod!! I know why it has a 327 Chevy motor!! Because the builder wanted a fast car!! 'Nuff said!!
Danny I just want to personally thank you for letting your fans come see your shop. That was one of the highlights of my Vegas Trip last September!
Love that you are going through your car collection and giving the story behind each car and bike
Thank you Danny that was awesome taught me a lot can remember a lot of stuff anymore but I all is well repair advocating building cars from scratch repairing stuff people confined with make it that's why I love you so and I love the way you do things Danny keep it up brother
Whata a great story, thanks for sharing Danny!
Danny
First, what a BEAUTIFUL RIDE!!!! I remember buying the HOT WHEELS version for my son. When I started watching the video, I showed him the car. He left the room, but came back in about 5 minutes with the HOT WHEELS. He is 20 now and really starting to get into cars. His dream is to have your shop do his car.
Secondly, in order to preserve that AMAZING Von Dutch flame job, have you EVER considered doing something like the 3M Clear Bra.or some similar clear wrap or possibly a clearcoat?????1
Such a Legend... The Car & the Dude 😎👍👍
That's the most bad ass thing I've seen in a long time! I've got that Hot Wheels roadster in White w/ the matching flamed out van!

I may have one of the early issues of that HotWheel, somewhere, in black with flames! A few years ago I went to the birthday party for the son of my Sister's friend and got him a more recent reissue of that car in a deep purple with flames as a gift.
