she was to some extent known to me . beautiful human being . being a disciple and wife of great A. T. Kanan , she contributed a lot in classical music in this continent . she rendered wonderfully and presented various raags beautifully with great emotions and also melodious voice . thank you very much for shared .
My first Hindustani music experience was her concert in Swathithirunal Sangeetha Sabha Trivandrum in the late 1960's when I was a college student. That unforgettable experience drew me into learning more about Hindustani music although I know carnatic music
The same soft and sweet feminine grace of Hirabai Barodekar and minimum or almost no display of technique and taiyari. Hirabaiji, however, concentrates a lot more on the lower octave swaras. Malabika sings with the precision and continuity of an instrument like the dilruba .
