I’m happy to get an animated adaption in which Hades isn’t a bald blue man trying to kill Hercules. Thankfully this is a better interpretation of his character.
I agree I like this interpretation of Hades have you seen the final episode that ending was a doozy
Same I actually like hades and found myself kinda rooting for him in some parts
I was a bit lukewarm on this season compared to the first. And I think its largely due in part to the significant gap in time it was released. My wife and I thought it'd be a great idea to go back and rewatch season 1 to get a good recollection of what happened. And we'd segue into season 2. But that experience ended up backfiring. Because the first few episodes were basically just rehases with a few fill in the gap moments. It was like a big exposition dump that made me almost turn the show off. Thankfully we powered through and the show really got movement by the end of episode 3. And I ended up liking it. I think we had to wait 4 years to get this season because of Powerhouse Animation's workload. They've had to produce other Netflix shows such as Masters of the Universe, Skull Island, and Castlevania back to back. They're a super busy studio and apparently had to outsource season 2 of Blood of Zeus to 2 Korean studios to finish it.
The writing & the script Pure Fire. Had to binge, I could not stop watching. Superb. Please rushSeason 3.

Heron being a simple good man in a cast of eccentric characters is the point. He’s meant to be the stability in the chaos, a force capable of bringing moral decency and peace on earth through his unique perspective. He’s a perfect example of healthy masculinity in an environment of toxic masculinity and femininity. Heron is the vocal point reason and a new perspective as king of the gods. His death is the tragedy.
He will come back but I have a feeling he will come back as a full god not a Demi god I think the fates and Gaia will intervene and give him a new body he will still have his Demi god soul but with a god body.
My local downtown theater is showing the classic Jason and the Argonauts tonite. I think I'm gonna go. May never have another chance to see it on the big screen.
Just finished season 2 and it was like Game of Thrones among the Gods. It’s for adults without any silly kid like moments. Absolutely loved it!
I found it so funny when they mention how much of a hero he was during the conflict but they couldn’t forgive how much of a sexual deviant and predator he was afterwards. Like stuff he did was so bad they could even mention it due to basic public decency as it was a public trial.

I found this show because of you, James, and have been working my way through the first season. Really happy to get a second one. Thought it was going to be one of those good shows that Netflix just forgot about.

James, I understand that you’re jaded about anything related to Disney+, but if you’re not watching “X-Men ‘97,” then you’re missing out. Not only is it good. I think it’s better than “Invincible.”

What do you mean it‘s good for 13year olds just because it lacks in sex scenes? I‘m glad that all of the scenes are story relevant and not filled with irrelevant sex shots.

I thought this was really good. The story, writing,etc. were compelling. Maybe not a+ profound, but it was visually captivating as well.
season 1 animation in terms of the light and shadowing of the people, is better than season 2
Glad they made a second season. Always thought the 1st was great
Let’s get on board with leaving the sex out of animation, regardless of the “intended audience.” Children will want to watch it regardless, so it’s best left out.
I had to rewatch season 1 but it was just as good the 1st time I watched

I've always been interested in Greek Mythology and I loved Season 1 but Season 2 was just solid to me too, it didn't grab my attention as much. I also agree that Heron was a boring lead and quite one-dimensional.

Season 1 was really good!!
Season 2 was alright, more into details, but left a cliffhanger. I want him back, Heron. He's the main character😢 Why should he have to sacrifice for his family foolishness behind his fathers lusciousness, bastering children?

Coming back nearly 4 years later with this season was disappointing. Everything but the final 10 minutes of this season was awful.
Kinda disappointed with season 2, a lot of backtracking and a lot of talking. Feels like they are going for an anime type series and not the Castlevania one that I liked
In a series with multiple seasons your gonna have a season or 2 where it’s a good amount of dialogue and character development that’s just how it works
It was definitely a little slower than I expected but I actually enjoyed the story and I'm one whos always craving some good action lol
@@JAC315 Dialogue is fine, but we have a main character, and the set main character isn't present in the season at all, only a little bit. It's like a background story on the antoganist from the previous season, as well as a lot of backtracking inside the previous season. I don't want another two episodes that just repeat past events, but from a different perspective. New Season should be new events and not old ones, and the way they end it on a cliffhanger is tragic too, it was building up so much to nothing man.
@@podor2011man it was perfect I like the different viewpoint it shows everyone has different motivations to reach the same goals and makes me root for all of them except Ares and Demeter. Feels like real life too where everyone is your friend but also competition not everyone can get a happy ending and the right choices can give you a bad outcome like AARon it was tooo perfect the crew did a phenomenal job
@@dogeofamp6037 Still a huge let down for me, it's like the one punch man season 2 where people waited more than 4 years for it to come out a little cranky. Feels like the studio was rushed and didn't have enough time to actually perfect it. Like if you go back to season 1, you will find a few mistakes that they did with season 2, timeline wise. I do respect your opinion, I guess I have to wait for season 3 to be satisfied
