How's the one year review for it so far and how's it held up? Would love to get some feedback! Planning to get one but just trying to see and shop around for options
This is very helpful & informative! I appreciate you guys showing how your dogs react to the pet liner because my dog will definitely try to jump out to the front of the car as well. My dog is the same size so thank you :)
Awesome. Happy to help. If you get a chance, submit a photo of your dog in the Frunk and add the hashtag #FrunkPuppyFriday for a chance to win some prizes.
I find that because the windows move up/down a bit during door open/close that the clips start to inch their way up after awhile. Do you have this issue?
It is not clear to me: Are you putting the clip between the rubber seal and the glass? (doesn't work because the window goes down and up every time you close the door and moves the clip out, and possibly damages the seal) or are you putting the clip between the inner door skin and the rubber? (does not seem to fit in)
This was on back order forever! Finally received mine yesterday. Love the mesh cause my puppy loves to put her head near the Heating vent to feel the heat. Always had to deal with mud splatter on my rear doors before I got this cover. Thanks Tesla!
My hooks that connect the door protectors are completely different and don't stay in place. They're more like a hook shape. I wonder if I got a beta version or something?
Can you not put the loops over the front seats? I want a pet liner in place so the back seats can still be used by people (my kids) with dog in the car. Thanks.
@@espenhansn8156 In case it is still useful: there is a clear warning label on the door protector itself, saying specifically “may damage aftermarket tint.” I don’t have tint, so I don’t know if it actually does, or it is just legalese to protect them from complaints.
I have an 80 Lbs Yellow Labrador Retriever and NO issues! I do use a harness on her and seatbelt. I used to use a Orvis seat cover witch had the hammock design but no door protectors or Mesh so heat and A/C could pass thru so never connected to the front seats as my dog likes to rest her head by vent. but now she can still feel the vent through the mesh. Excellent idea!
We put our GS in the MY cargo area. This way we don’t worry about seats ir doors being scratched and he has his own space with his comfy bed. Back seat passenger have room and dog is also close to to get their much needed head scratching.
@@enyayannidido I ended up going in the opposite direction and went with a zl1 Camaro lol I just kept my truck for when I want to take my dog around. He isn’t welcome in the new car after what he did to my truck seats 😂

The review is not thorough since you only tested it with very small dogs. Try testing the liner with a larger dog and you will see the liner moves all over and does not stay attached to the seat back. Very unsafe.
This liner is a 2/5 at best. I bought it. The plastic rings constantly come loose, and you have to reseat the hammock every single day. It's not good. Honestly I wish it was, for $140. It needs to be fit better, have additional places to "hook in" to the seats to prevent it from moving. It is good quality, but it catches Siberian Husky hair like magnets, it should have been a slipperier material. If it would simply stay put for a few weeks I would give it a 4/5.
@@Anthony__420 Yeah I slip them in as deep as it goes at least once a day, if not twice. I pull the seat down too to try and get the loops even further in to be pinched once the seat is folded back up.
@@brandonsmith8235 When you fold the seat forward, do you pull the handle so far that it is visible? Like almost in the trunk? When I want to carry passengers, I can’t pull the handles out without lowering the seat back down again. They are jammed in against the seat back and the trunk liner.
@@stebrahan Hi Stefan! Unfortunately, with my hammock anyway, even with the seats half folded down and me laying inside my trunk trying to pull the cylinders under the seat and into the trunk I simply don't have enough slack to get the cylinders to pull completely under the seat and into the trunk area. If the nylon straps were maybe 1 inch longer it would likely work but my straps are just a little too short. Maybe mine were cut short or something I dunno!
@@kekelapp0r Post a link then cause Ive never seen one with door protectors. Main reason why I bought it. Well worth the money and Convenience. I used an after market cover at first cause it said it was made for a model 3 and way to big and made out of canvas too. Had another cover a friend gave me made by Oris and was plush and quilty so used the canvas one first and Orvis on top of it, but with this its the only one I need now and fits like a glove. Well worth it IMO
This was all good until my pet figured out a way to slide through the sides and crawl under the seats to come to the front. flawed design or over-smart doggie? 🤷🏻♂️
You need a harness and a dog seat belt to prevent your dog from moving around. It's not only unsafe for you but also for your pet. Any sudden break and your pet can be projected and splattered against the windshield. May break your (or the passanger) neck too.
Do the clips on the door protectors scratch the glass if the window us rolled down and up? Di the clips stay in place if window is rolled down?
Thanks for such a creative , informative and entertaining video!! Laughed a lot and loved it!!
How has this held up? I’m afraid it’ll mess up my tint.

Yes. I can’t figure it out. It’s annoying because it’s so expensive but if it’s just gonna fall off what’s the point?
Great video! Just got mine & found this very helpful! My dog was confused at first but actually finds it quite comfortable now!

The mesh also works to let the ac pass to the back to climatize the back for the dog

Thanks. I clicked on your link and bought it because of your review.
Works well with harness and bungee leash. Not sure I’d want him in back unsecured.
❤great video!Do you still keeping the tesla?
Please restrain your dogs with a harness and seat belt. Any sudden stops and they would be launched, injured, or killed.
How do you keep it clean? Is it machine washable?
Yes
Nice looking bench cover. Thanks for the review.
Are there any issues with the window clips hurting an aftermarket tint as the window goes up and down?
I just installed today and first thing I thought of. I will keep and eye on this
@@Anthony__420 any update? 😁

Nice vid! it something for me. Just glue a harder floor extender on the bottom then done. I didnt like the wrecking of fingers in the episode. Why?
A must have for pet owners! Thanks for the review. 👍
I was wondering, were there anchors to wedge in between leather like some dog seat cover to prevent it from sliding?
the bag looks good

can you roll the widows up and down with the clips in? Great vid!
Do you think the clips on the door covers will scratch aftermarket tint?
Not sure tbh. I don't have tint to test
Would this work with a 100lb rottweiler? my concern is him messing my seats up. He wouldnt try to get into the front

How do you wash this ?
Is it possible to only have one side installed so my kid can ride in the other seat?
Did you find out?

Do the clips on the window damage when the windows drop
Haven't. No
Can you machine wash this?
Good question. I'm not entirely sure. Haven't had to as of yet.
I wonder who makes it far enough for Bandit's sake haha

You can just buy any other liner with the same features for like 1/3 the price.
