Hope you're enjoying our videos so far and thanks for your feedback on the audio levels, It's our 4th video and we're still getting used to things, we'll defo try and nail it on the next one! :)
Im from Turin but i live abroad since 10 years, Mexico now. You guys really gave me nostalgia about my city! As soon as we'll be able to travel back i'll definitely hit all those places!! Keep it up guys! love the video!
We love it here (it's Marti's home town so we know it well). Tomorrow we are going on a little road trip to Liguria on the coast which is the home of focaccia and pesto for that matter! :) video will be up soon. Thanks for the sub!
I don't want to compare Torino with other Italian cities, but for me, it remains the most beautiful city in Italy. This city is simply wonderful, it also boasts many records, Torino is the city that has the largest porticoed square in Europe, the first capital of Italy, it has the largest Roman gate in the world "porta palatina", it hosts, outside Egypt, the most important Egyptian Museum in the world. In 1896 in Torino there was the first cinema screening in Italy. The "Porta Palazzo" market is the largest open-air market of Europe, the Mole Antonelliana was until 1889 the tallest building in all of Europe, it is the Italian city where the film industry was first established, it boasts of being one of the greenest European cities if not the largest among them, and many other things. Everything about Torino will win you over, its architecture, its museums, its parks, its squares, its fountains, its food, sweet and savory. Visit Torino, you will be fascinated by it, it is a real jewel, which you will never forget.
Thanks so much, I think we have finally nailed the levels in our latest video just uploaded, exploring Liguria :) ruclips.net/video/rCzsmLSmH20/видео.html
We've had a few similar requests. We do want to do more food based videos but we always a feel a little awkward devoting time to talking to camera when we are eating with other people and generally in some restaurants it doesn't feel like the done thing but yes it's definitely an area we are going to try to focus on more.
That info was great and I understand she's Italian but just like other expressive languages she needs to slow down because I want to hear her expression!
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job!
Thanks for the support Carl! May is a perfect time to visit northern Italy, it will be warm but not crazy hot like in the summer, should be low to mid 20's ;)
We've been really lucky so far, although here in Mexico it's still the end of the rainy season so you get massive downpours in the afternoon. Always best to film first thing in the morning!
Loved the video, yes, the food looked delicious. Mouthwatering. When in Rome ( in this case Turin) do as....! Enjoyed you telling the story. One tip: When editing try to get the volume the same throughout. Wearing earphones while watching is an onslaught on the ear drums ( sorry). I made that mistake too till I found out how to adjust the volume. No-one mentioned that item to me, I wish they had. Looking forward to more videos.
Glad you liked the video! Yes we have been having some issues with the ambient noise overpowering the talking when increasing the volume, it's still early days so hopefully they will get better :)
It’s been a long time since we have been but yes it’s L’Obelix, they do a thing called appericena, which you’re right is basically a decent buffet with a drink included. Hopefully its still there! Thanks for watching :)
Its will be pretty cold as it's near the alps, it's also usually pretty quiet as its a university city and students are away during this time but it means there won't be any crowds which is a plus! :) Hope you enjoy!
Hi Matt and Marti 👋🏼 me and my girlfriend are heading to Turin next week and we found this video super helpful. What was the name Of the place you pay for a drink and eat what you can?
Hi Charles, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed :) In the video we visited Lobelix II, we really like it there but there are a ton of places that do this in the early evening :) Hope you enjoy this beautiful city!
@@Hungry_Voyager There are so many places of delight in wonderful Turin - thank you for bringing back the memories! You might like to visit Piazza Bodoni (the only square in Italy named after a typeface) next time. And care re the sound level.
Yeh we're still learning even with this microphone how to optimise voice over ambient noise, it's a bit of a task at the moment. We went for a Rode microphone, I believe it's called Rode VideoMicro. It's seems pretty good so far, still tweaking it though!
you might consider to improve the sound quality a bit. It's hard to hear what you guys saying, but also disturbed by the excessive back ground sound after I turned up the volume.
Great views of Turin. Congrats to both of you Me ha piaciato tanto ! :-) NB: Care the voice volume. Very low and then turns very loud with some of the music... NB2 : I recommend 'Giandugia' as well !
Grazie! :) Turin has so much to offer, beautiful city. Thanks for the feedback, the audio is our top priority when we go to film in Liguria this Friday :)

It is a beautiful city and not full of tourists, which makes it even more enjoyable :)

Thanks Andrea! Its a beautiful city, as soon as we can get back there we will be.
love a good focaccia! Turino looks awesome - the architecture and grand buildings look amazing!

It was amazing then and we are actually back staying with family in Turin again now! :) Thanks for the support.
@@Hungry_Voyager Glad to hear that! If you need some advice let me know ;)
Have you guys ever consider a food focus travel video? You do it very well and I keep finding myself looking forward to the eating parts 😄🌮🍺

Hi! I didn't understand the last bar, was it a buffet? is it L'Obelix Bar? Thanks
It’s been a long time since we have been but yes it’s L’Obelix, they do a thing called appericena, which you’re right is basically a decent buffet with a drink included. Hopefully its still there! Thanks for watching :)
great job👍
really useful was looking at going for a long weekend, 4 days would that be long enough to see it all, looks beatiful
You should definitely visit! It's has the culture and nature as you're so close to the mountains :) Thanks for watching!
What is Turin like in February? I am headed there with my girlfriend mid february!
Its will be pretty cold as it's near the alps, it's also usually pretty quiet as its a university city and students are away during this time but it means there won't be any crowds which is a plus! :) Hope you enjoy!
That sandwich is really mouth watering

What is the Name from the Last Restaurant/bar
This video makes me hungry.
We need a new microphone 😕
You guys sound great in this. What mic did you go for?
Yeh we're still learning even with this microphone how to optimise voice over ambient noise, it's a bit of a task at the moment.
We went for a Rode microphone, I believe it's called Rode VideoMicro. It's seems pretty good so far, still tweaking it though!
Is Turin a very diverse city?

Yeh sorry about that, that is one of our older videos! We learned our lesson from this :) thanks for watching.

Turin the only city I fill at home.

Finalmente qualcuno che pubblicizza vanilla per me uno dei migliori gelati di toribi
Amazing video, the only drawback is the sound.
Folks: Italy was established in 1861 not 1961. It was entertaining however, because a comment about being accurate was made right before
You are gorgeous Marti
Nice couple nice vlog but i dont like the background music,... too slow i think for a travel video etc.. haha
Support your channel from qatar
Thanks for the feedback, we're only a couple of weeks in so still finding our feet, will defo take that on board :)
NOOOTELLA 🤤🤤🤤
Gianduiotto is serious business! King of the gelato 💪🏻
1961??? 1861!!!
there are more than 19 train per day from Caluso to Turin, your videos are the reason why people think of Italy as a very backward nation
Show us the city and less of your face all the time
La prossima volta non prendete un regionale ;)
haha, it got us there in the end! :)
Focaccia in Torino?!? What is your problem?
To be fair, it’s close to Genoa
@@hirsch4155 so.... go to Genova! And in Torino taste a much proper Tramezzino or Pizza al tegamino!
