I thought the same, the exhaust and intake m³/s both would be so low they would just slip past the fins. Maybe, at high RPM, there would just barely be enough airflow in the exhaust to make the turbo rotate visibly for anybody eyeballing the fins. To get anything on a turbo that big out of an engine that small, it would need to have a twin screw on the exhaust, because the pressure would be able to build up over time with twin screw, it wouldn't run quick but it would run, even at idle.
At this point you might just go faster by removing the driveshaft and engaging the transmission brake, the thrust would be more than enough to propel you past highway speeds XD
You need to implement splitters, wings, etc. Anything to keep the tires down. I would love to see how they perform when not hindered by insane wheelies. Maybe even a wheelie bar!

That's not the turbo, it's engine torque twisting the whole axle and compressing the suspension on one side and extending it on the other. Powerful drag cars show exactly the same effect, and always to the right with a conventional clockwise crankshaft rotation.
crazy to think that you technically havent even reached full power yet cut as the boost builds up you just start wheelying and have to let off the gas.. man I'd love to see more cars fitted with that turbo
The question is what's the bore size of the cruise ship turbo? I'm guessing 12.5 inches or 385MM is insane for a bigger diesel engine that's designed for a multi million dollar passenger vessel, and the horsepower these big maritime diesels can make must be an OP number of my guessing of 25 high performance honda civics or either 8-12 combined jumbo B747's, what's your take on the cruise ship turbo?.
