If you want to live off divs right now. But say... 10 to 15 years, investing every pay check and rolling earnings back into the divs. Depending on circumstances, it's possible.
I'm trying to start building my little dividend snowball! The Canadian dollar is collapsing, I'm getting no raises so I'll need a way to make more money passively if I want a roof over my head. I fear I'm too late in discovering this. Inflation is absolutely insane.
@@Angular777 I did not. I didn't understand anything economy-wise until this past year. Nobody teached me anything about the economy. I thought this was just gonna pass and return to normal, never expected this inflation. I believe everybody that was telling me get a career and you'll be good which never happened. I love it ❤people hear the stock market is going crazy so they jump in after hearing the news and not knowing it's about to go down. Be passive if you not willing to do the research.
One lesson I've learnt from billionaires is to always put your money to work, and diversifying your investments. I'm planning to invest about $30k of my savings in stocks this year, and I hope I make profits.
My age is 55 and I have zero debt, 110k in the bank, 35k NVDA shares, 401k $270k, IRA 145K and 2 houses in Bay Area with zero mortgages. Just got a Mercedes SUV as my 3rd car. I started saving after marriage only after marriage but will all this be enough to retire?
@IveirosesRyckmans That makes sense. I’ve been using a financial market expert for two years now and I own a six-figure diversified portfolio from investing in stocks. I want to diversify more this year, though.

He boosted his price target on Nvidia's stock (NVDA) to $160 from $145, with the new target implying 21% upside from the stock's closing price on Friday. His target is based on a multiple of about 51.5 times his estimated adjusted earnings per share for calendar 2025.
Personally, I sometimes use my dividends to buy other dividend and growth stocks for diversification instead of reinvesting in the same stock. To each their own methods though. The good thing is that you’re investing in the first place and that’s what’s important.
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks. I believe having 150K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn to invest or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.
Focus on two key objectives. Learn when to sell stocks to minimize losses and maximize gains to start protecting yourself. Second, prepare to make money when the market turns around. I advise speaking with a broker or financial counselor.

Hey Shelise, I'm interested in your new classes. Can you tell me what workbook is being offered with the class? I won't be able to attend the May 25th class, but I will be attending the June class.
I agree with you! Investing in individual stocks is definitely not passive. In many ways it’s a living nightmare. One minor decision by upper management can send the stock rocketing into the ground. Funds are the only way to go with your nest egg for obvious reasons. Then use some play money that you can get into some stocks with.
As of right now, GoPro stock is very low ($1.90 per share). I’m buying a little bit at a time in case it should go back up. Years ago it was over $30 per share, and at one point it had peeked to over $90 per share!
That doesn't mean that it will rise back up to $90, unfortunately. I guess it's a low risk investment because of the cheap price, but I personally don't have hope for GoPro. It's a DEI company, and it looks like generating profit isn't one of their top concerns.
@@twitchyrats5252 I’m aware. Even if they go back up to $10 per share, that’s still quite the multiplication. Worst case scenario is I can write off the loss if they go bankrupt,

I don't have a lot of experience investing in REITS, the fund I invest has some, but first of all, there's not one REIT, it's like any other fund, you can find one REIT and invest 20k and let it sit there, but you really want to keep putting money in. But I don't recommend you keep putting it a singular REIT.

Robert kiyosaki also has a million dollar real estate team and lawyers to back that up. If you don't know how to use debt to get rich than it's best that you don't.
Now I'm not saying don't follow kyasayki because he is a professional at what he does to build his wealth but that path is for the extremely different people.
In my country you need at least 60k deposit for a property then you have to hope the value goes up before accessing equity to do that. What this guy is suggesting is to put your money to work straight away with as little as $100 in a dividend stock with access to interest from day one… and build from there. It definitely seems an easier route to financial freedom but definitely not a get rich quick scheme. Being consistent and patient is the key and financial freedom will come eventually!
