AC and Batman combat is absolute ass, spam the clunky controls whilst the game auto aims and animation locks. No place in a 2024 game. Ghost of Tsushima is what we can hope the gameplay will be like.

First off guys I have to touch base on the fact that it’s not an exclusive if the game goes straight to the PC & there is a rumor that Microsoft might be working on a PS5 version too so if any of that happens then it’s not exclusive at all but the biggest disappointment for me is that the developers are saying that the Blade game will be story driven not open world & that type of gaming has been outdated for 15 years, look at Robocop Rogue City as fun as that game was it got old very quickly & didn’t sale well at all so if they don’t make this game open world then I’m gonna skip buying it

No they didn't. Studios pay Marvel for the right to develop games using their characters. Sony got a Marvel liscense so Insomniac could develop Marvel Games, and they chose Spider-Man and Wolverine. EA made a 3 game Marvel deal and so far have chosen Iron Man and Black Panther, Microsoft made a deal and chose Blade, etc. Almost every Marvel game is available on all platforms.
Marvel is...shall we say...difficult to work with historically. And expensive. Game development is already expensive and risky so studios usually focus on building original IP rather than licensed ones.

It's not surprising. Xbox hasn't hadn't a Marvel exclusive because they didn't want one until now. The reason Insomniac even ended up making Spider-Man PS4 is because Xbox turned down working with both Marvel and Insomniac. so they could focus on their own IP's like Halo.

Lyon is the French branch of Arkane Studios.They all work under the same management and share resources and devs. This was explained in the video, and even in the comment you replied to, I clearly established a difference between Lyon and Austin by mentioning Deathloop.
Why even announce it when it’s in that early in development? If I hear someone say it’s to build hype or for marketing then that person is moronic. You don’t start marketing that early when we won’t see anything else for years. You can’t maintain hype for that many years. This generation has been a let down. After how many years we are finally starting to get big exclusives. So far these “big” next gen games were built so they could be played on the previous generation. Nope it has to specifically be Spider-Man related in order for them to keep the rights, but Disney only needs permission for the actual Spider-Man films. Why even announce it when it’s in that early in development? If I hear someone say it’s to build hype or for marketing then that person is moronic. You don’t start marketing that early when we won’t see anything else for years. You can’t maintain hype for that many years.
This generation has been a let down. After how many years we are finally starting to get big exclusives. So far these “big” next gen games were built so they could be played on the previous generation. I understand the business reasoning but I’m still seeing newly announced games going to the previous generation. We spend all this money for a new system and want that new system experience. Instead we are getting product held back so it can work on the older system

This information about Xbox is Wrong. Sony owns all right to blade. based off his or publisher with marvel. Any marvel character that connects directly to spider is a product of Sony. This includes morbius, fantastic 4, Wolverine . And blade. Now Blade’s 1st appearance was Tomb of Dracula 10. It still story wise connected to Spiderman … now it may not be PlayStation exclusive but it will most definitely be on both systems
Everything you said is wrong. Like hilariously wrong. Marvel is owned by Disney. Sony only owns the film rights to Spider-Man, and they only own them as long as they release a Spider-Man related film consistently. It's why Sony and Disney had to make a deal in order for Spider-Man to have MCU movies, but why Disney didn't have to go through Sony to make Spider cartoons, and why Sony had to approach Marvel in order to get the rights to make the Insomniac Spider-Man games. Blade is being published by Bethesda and developed by Arkane. Both owned by Microsoft. It will only be on Xbox, PC, and Gamepass.

That includes all of Marvel, with the exception of the Spider-Man movie rights, which Marvel had made a deal with Sony for previously while they were struggling financially. The reason Spider-Man wasn't available to Xbox or PC in Avengers is because Sony paid Square Enix to put Spider-Man in the game as a PlayStation Exclusive. Disney does not need Sony's permission to do anything Marvel related except make Spider-Man movies, and there is not a shred of evidence to support anything you said. But if you're confident, you're more than welcome to provide articles showing that Disney needed to go through Sony to make Fantastic 4 and Blade. Nope it has to specifically be Spider-Man related in order for them to keep the rights, but Disney only needs permission for the actual Spider-Man films. That's why they have "MJ" in the MCU instead of Mary Jane Watson. And why they were waiting and negotiating with Sony before Tom Holland could get a movie, and why they didn't go to Sony for any of the other characters. Fantastic 4 and Blade are their own IP. They are not Spider-Man characters.

Xbox and Bethesda only promoted 'player numbers' because they knew fans who weren't paying attention would assume total players=sales, forgetting that Starfield was free on Gamepass. Spider-Man 2 meanwhile sold 2.5 million in the first 24 hours and 5 million in the first 11 days
