My man started off as a variety football channel. Tried to cover other clubs but saw liverpool videos were the ones gaining views. Quickly then pivoted to making tons of them lmao. Respect
Well he got me to watch the video because of this 😝
Serious? 😂 so he ain’t a Liverpool supporter?
@@generalkunta396 He has an LFC news channel. So I’m guessing he’s also a Liverpool supporter.
Bro he's a Liverpool fan.
Liverpool are just that big
He's quite a magical, stubborn, force of nature player. I'm so happy he's Uruguayan, he's got that never surrender mentality that suits Liverpool so well.
The league ain't ready for Mr.chaos Darwizzy
But the league is a tailor made for Darwin Nunez to show his fantastic form!
It's Darwizzy
Darwin is Chaotic Neutral ..or maybe he's Lawful Evil
if darwin gets his finishing right, the premier league is dead
This is right. People try to explain him when it's easy. He sorts his finishing and he's a complete player. It's that simple.
If my grandmother had wheels, she would be a bike
British carbonara
@@userunknown3761she already is a bike
@@userunknown3761your nans the town bike, does that count?
I love Darwin, he's such a good, really incredible player, he has that kind of magic that you rarely see in any player.
He is captain of chaos. But more importantly he is our Captain Of Chaos.
He should not change a thing. We love him as he is!!!
Our last Uruguayan was worth the admission money on his own. Darwin is starting to get that way too. The goals might not be there yet but the excitement he generates is very similar. Both 100% effort players and Anfield loves that.
Dunno about that. There's no excuse for missing so many big chances so he does need to work on that. But I believe he will
He's shite
@@John-se3fmindeed, its his job to score goals, the most important part is why we should keep our faith in him and think it's only a matter of time, because he gets into right positions , challenge defenders, creates a lot of chances to begin with and works really well in our set up.
It's so ridiculous when people say Haaland cost less.
The cost of a player is not just about the transfer fee, but also the salary and bonus payments.
Haaland easily earns 3 times what Nunez earns and over the next 3,4 years Haaland will be far more expensive for City than Nunez for Liverpool.
I don't suppose it did City any harm who Haaland's father is! I wonder if Alf-Inge persuaded his son to go to City for a bargain price just to spite United? Revenge is a dish best served cold and all that!
Also, Haaland's fee was in fact the release clause set by Dortmund in his contract. Therefore ... I am sure they could have asked close to £100M if they had a higher release clause.
When we reply to their ridiculous claim they’ll say it doesn’t matter cos haaland is worth it. But yet they can’t help but lie to deceive themselves that haaland cost less.
@@aleluia01So? It doesn’t matter how they bought him, they paid less. How is it a bad thing that they did good business
he also has insane bonuses in his contract, one of his bonuses was score 1 goal, play 1 game etc just so you get the jist of it, his transfer fee was closer to 200m with bonuses, while nunez's reached closer to 100m @@userunknown3761
Just scored a 99th minuet savior for Liverpool!!
He definitely adds something different to the forward line. I'm particularly impressed by his workrate, energy and attitude. Always seems to be up for it. Obviously, he could be more clinical and shoot with a cooler head, but I reckon that will come with experience and maturity.
I’d have Darwin over harland any day. Darwin is so exciting to watch. He is Awesome. YNWA.
*Exciting
Though it's "exiting" for some to see him missing opportunities.
@@reincarnate3440do you actually watch a 90 minute game
@@reincarnate3440 autocorrect eh. What can you do? 🤣 thanX. 👍
I don't think Haaland would do as well at Liverpool, he's probably score more than Nunez but Nunez has assists too and I find him more exciting to watch. You don't see Haaand much outside the box, he's very much a 1 touch then score kind of striker. Nunez chips in in other areas of the pitch and that makes him more valuable to me
Nunez is a better all round footballer, Haaland can't play football as well as most other players in the league, he's just a good poacher.
Diaz penetrates defence line but can't create gaps for others to strike except himself...Nunez penetrates defence line by messing up their formation resulting in openings for others to strike...Nunez is just like Endo...he's everywhere...Nunez has Suarez aura...watching him play is just like having Suarez on the pitch....very entertaining❤❤❤
Comparison is the thief of joy. Diaz is fantastic too, just like Darwin
Trust me on this, if he keeps growing like this and decreases missing chances, he's gonna be explosive... The league is not ready for prime Darwin.. you'll forget haaland mbappe...
Amazing player
There is plenty more to come from him
Really enjoyable analysis. Above all else Darwin makes football fun to watch
Who is gonna talk about Haaland missing 10 chances in a single game against Chelsea, including a sitter?
Darwin Nuñez haters: **crickets**
I'll never understand why people say he costs more then Haaland. Halland's transfer fee was 60 mil. EUR and his agent's fee was 40 mil. EUR, so it's about the same as Darwin. What is different is Haaland's astronomical salary whitch together with DeBruyne's are the biggest in The Premier League, meanwhile Darwin isn't even in the top 30.
And the fans love him!
He has great personality to have in the team, human golden retriever - I can't hate him even though he frustrates me sometimes
This comparison is inevitable but they are different players. Nunez is quick, upsets defences and adds more than just goals. Nunez gives much more than goals unlike Haaland who if not scoring does not offer as much. Liverpool supporters love Nunez and they are not easily fooled.
Darwin cost more than Haaland?
Are you sure you aren't part of City's accountancy team?
When it comes to transfer fees not including salaries and agents fees, he’s right. City paid the release clause of 60m, LFC paid 85m to Benfica.
@@fathalli1 But that's it, isn't it! The true cost of a player should at least factor in agent fees and likely-to-be-realized add-ons. And if we're not intending to be disingenuous, you should at least point out the wage differences.
Haaland will work out far more expensive than Nunez. It's quite obvious and understandable.
@@fathalli1 Nope, Liverpool paid Benfica £63.7m, the rest was in add-ons (some of which have been paid)
@@fathalli1 Wrong, mate. Pool Pay Just less then 65, one of the reason they don't get to ucl last season.
With Haaland its another thing.
His father recived 20-30 mill, than his agent (Riola, R.i.P.) recived the same amount. Than Darwin earns 140 k a week. Erling earns 400 k a week. So Erling will cost City several times then Darwin will for City.
Regards from Norway 🇧🇻
@jonisilk
😂😂😂
Darwin gonna be a great player
i love him, he is definately an asset for us. Wouldnt like to watch his miss reel though
Nunez has been a bit unlucky at times, he's often done very well to get himself into position.
I think the weight of expectation can often weigh heavily on his shoulders.
When you look at the goalscoring figures for Jota in comparison and even Gakpo is starting to get in on the act too.
My understanding is he's netted 23 GOALS this season and 14 ASSISTS.
i honestly think he’s the most intelligent striker in the world in terms of making runs and positioning, haaland is a close second of course but u see haaland only get 1/2 chances a game sometimes where as i don’t think i’ve seen nunez go a game without 3 decent chances
The chaos king will definitely improve on his finishing...
65 rising to 85 if he meets all the lofty performance targets tbf
i’ve always said the true way to rate a player at another club is to see how their fans talk about him, there’s players out there who look to be doing better than they actually are and fans of that club might not rate them as highly as other, kovacic is one at chelsea in the last few years where as an outsider i thought he was good but my chelsea mate said he wasn’t and seeing him at city now it’s evident he was right. Liverpool fans love nunez and we all want him to start every game, if he wasn’t that good surely we’d want gakpo, diaz or jota to start over him right? so there u go
Within reason, otherwise using this approach Arsenal would have the world's best player in every position if you listened to their fanbase as a whole
The reason why we love Nunez is not only everything you said in the video (all facts btw) but also because he embodies the city of Liverpool. Darwin is just a South American Liverpudlian. Being doubted, always trying, never doubting oneself, confident, making himself useful outside of job description, etc. He's Liverpool through and through.
He just needs to loosen up when shooting easy shots. It will be goal after goal afterwards. Other than goals I think he's been the energizer for the team. He's been great.
Great video. The thing people forget is that Bobby Firmino wasn't always a prolific goalscorer and yet was so integral to the team. Nunez is a bit of a different player but he's certainly not the out-and-out striker people keep seeing him as. Nobody minded Bobby's goal droughts so long as he facilitated Salah and Mane to score. Which team have scored the most goals in the premier league this season? Liverpool. Has Darwin been crucial to that, even when he isn't the one scoring? Absolutely.
Total cost of the transfer, agent and salary for 5/y for Darwin is £144m (85+15+44). For Haaland it's £302m (52+50+200). In money terms I think they were valued correctly, the comparison is normally based on Darwin "costing" more, but Haaland cost City double
1:30 the reality was that Haaland was 100 + mil and Nunez was 85 big diifference.
Yep. Such lazy reporting and clearly building false narratives to induce hype. Turned it off as soon as he led with it
Haaland cost £52m
It will be much fair to compare by what they will cost each club per year in other words, (Transfer fee paid + total salary over the length of the contract )/ years of the contract. I am pretty sure that be 1/3 of what city is paying haaland each season in terms of transfer fee and salary. Not to mention City paid whole transfer fee upfront while liverpool will be paying benfica in installments over next few years.
Nunez cost 65m he wasn't 85m because we didn't qualify for UEFA Champions League
i'm a liverpool fans but these haaland nunez comparisons are getting way out of hand.
people who sh*t on darwin for missing chances not realising how good he is because they don't watch the games are complete idiots, but the haaland hate is even more embarrassing
how are we even remotely questioning a 23 year old dude who scores pretty much a goal per game since he joined city and has led them to win the treble including the long awaited ucl in his first season that's truly mind blowing.
darwin definitely has things he does better than haaland but they are not in the same conversation for now.
You can throw as many stats around as you like, no matter which side of the argument you're on, to tell whichever story you want to tell but Liverpool are an objectively side when he's on the pitch
2 amazing goals today
16 goals and 11 assists is 2228 minutes this season so far. A goal every 140 minutes and a score involvement every 80. That is elite. Haaland has a goal every 92 minutes and involvement every 76 and Salah a goal every 110 and involvement every 73. He is much closer to those guys than most realise. He just doesn’t play as many minutes, especially early in the season
Scores the winner today. Guy is a god
Love your videos could you do a video like the one you did with xabi alonso's possible version of liverpool with Ruben Amorin this time ?
Comparing Haaland and Nunez was always a stupid thing, I understand why people did, but they couldn't be more different players.
Nunez is far more Mobile, better on the ball and a better passer than Haaland.
Haaland is a pure goal scorer and doesn't have that much else in his game, he might improve that later though as he ages.
Also I don't think Haaland would ever work in the Klopp system but I do think Nunez could work in a pep system.
No worries bro, we LFC fans know that Darwin sometimes miss easy chances before scoring a worldie. We know he's not perfect but we love him since his game is so much more than scoring goals. Darwin's a more complete forward than Haaland imo. Our agent of chaos 🔥🔥
validitated is a great word
stiffle'd was my favourite.
This video shows everything I love about Nunez...direct, aggressive, fast, aeriel threat, can play as a target man and also in behind. People don't get that players like him make space for someone like Salah to do what he does.
I don't care what they say about him, he's so crucial for Liverpool team and he works so hard for the team and that what matters the most.
Unless the scary truth is that they paid way too much for him and will have to sell him for way less, or that Liverpool were hoodwinked!
Then you're just glazing the guy!
Also, Cost More than Haaland??? You're kidding me 💀 Liverpool need to fire their negotiating department!
Do some research Haaland was way more than Nunez. Haaland 60 down 400k a week, 500k a week in easy bonus money. 45m a year x5 225m plus 60m , 285m contract. Darwin 85m 150k a week 7.5m x5, 37.5m plus 85m, 122.5 million. 5 year cost, 122.5m is not more than 285m. Just because the money is transferred in wage bonus directly to Haaland vs Borussia doesn't make it free. This is why you want to have a lower buy out. The extra 120 million under transfer market value went straight to the Haaland family..
Stop hate Darwin, true fans of LFC loves him! His passion, his speed, his love to the club, and he loves LFC more than Suarez! He becomes a legend for Liverpool, if he play till the end of his career there! YNWA!
his technique is almost flawless... AND hitting the frame of the GOAL is not really off target imo
goals or not, he is a huge part of the way we play now. we are simply more dangerous with him on the pitch. scary hours if our first 11 are able to all get recovered in the coming month or two.
Loving the AI voiceover… “Dominic Solonkay” 💀😂
I actually adore nunez, think that 'headbutt' ruined his flow but he'll come back
Da man is awesome…. And the Anfield crowds truly appreciate his 110% effort as well. He is Liv’s dynamism and energy
I love Darwin, give him time and he is shore to become one of tne best!
I wouldn't swap him for Haaland...
He’s really finding his feet his the 3rd most important player in that Liverpool side, he’s the most dangerous player Liverpool has he changes games.
Wasnt it 85 mil euro instead of pounds?
Haalands transfer fee was lower than Nunez. But the agent and dad fees paid make him significantly more expensive.
Mans going to be Liverpools Henrik Larsson, watch this space. Going to love when he triggers his skills
He has confidence and that’s why I love him no matter what when he wants to take over he does
He is so chaotic I find it hard not to love him
Let's hope that Darwin improves his finishes by 30% then he will be the top striker.
for me it’s always just been the fact that the chances he misses, so many of them are sure fire goals. and then he scores crazy difficult goals. so that dichotomy would be harder for stats to show. whereas with other more typical strikers like haaland, they will more often score the easier goals and miss the tougher ones
like nuñez misses goals you barely see missed even in sunday league😂
Type in automatic caps like a normal person, you gen z lowercase kid.
First off, thats wasn't the fee. That was the fee including add-ons.
We love that fans mock Darwin, because it focuses him. Yeah he misses chances, but with 25 goal contributions so far,.That's 3rd in the league.
He's getting better and better, look at his stats from before Christmas to since the new year.
Any other team besides City would want their main attacker to hit those numbers, and hes liverpool 2nd attacker behind Salah.
Your numbers are false.
It's a known fact, £64M (£85M with add-ons) for Nunez. Haaland's figure has never been discussed though it's thought to be over £100M.
He needs more game time, he is a brilliant player.
I would pick him over salah any day.
love his passion
Once he starts pouring them in, which is going to happen sooner than later, there will be a lot of people who were slating him before saying it was only a matter of time and they'd called it all along. The man is who we all come to see, hes electric as anyone who watches LFC week in week out can attest.
Yesterday he just did prove his significance
I have never seen a player loved like nunez
Wrong darwin 64m rising to 81m. Haaland 51m but lets forget his dads 20m+ and agents fee of 30m. Haaland true cost was 100m+. Of course city wouldnt want the narrative to say this because they would have an extra couple of charges added to the 115.
As far as I know, Man city have so far paid more money for Haaland than Liverpool have for Nunez. Do your research and you'll know.
The cost of the player to a club is not just the transfer fee but wages as well and agent fees, signing on bonuses etc.
Darwin = £85m + a 5 year contract worth £36.4m (£140,000 / week): costing Liverpool £121.4m (before agent fees etc.)
Haaland = £52m + a 5 year contract worth £97.5m (which is £375,000 /week, even this value is low as there are reports Haaland is earning £865,000 / week so a 5 year contract worth up to £224.9m) therefore costing Man City between £149.5m - £276.9m (before agent fees and the rest!)
Darwin's xA+xG is in the 97th Percentile @ 0.94 per 90. Haaland's xA+xG is in the 99th Percentile @ 0.98. Here are some other comparative stats between them per 90.
Darwin DEMOLISHES Haaland in Shot-Creating Actions, Attempted Passes, Progressive Passes & Carries, Progressive Passes Received, Successful Take-Ons, Tackles & Blocks.
Darwin's overall play is FAR closer to that of Gabriel Jesus (whilst being a significantly better scorer & finisher than him) than to Haaland who does next to nothing for the team and exists purely to be fed. Plus Haaland is still only 24, if you compare his stats this season at age 24 to that of Salah, Mane & Firmino at age 24 he's way ahead of them. ALL he needs to do is improve his finishing. That's it. Beyond that he's already a Top 10 most complete CF's in world football, if he can score what he's expected to he will literally rival Haaland's output.
The thing is, yes, he's one of the best strikers in the league, however, it's not about numbers, it's clear that he misses 100% scoring chances. That's his only problem.
Of course all strikers miss a lot of chances, but the ones Nuñez miss are Werner and Sterling type of chances!
Nunez wasnt £85m, he was £65m with add-ons. Haalands fee with add-ons is £85.5m so potentially more than Nunez
Comparing the fee to Haaland isn't fair. Man City are paying INSANE wages for Erling.
I really like Nunez he might miss some goals here and there but boy when he hits in the nets its always a thriller, he's constantly an attacking threat as well.
A Darwin no le interesa Haaland además son jugadores muy diferentes.
Darwin es mucho más completo como jugador.
Además Liverpool en general juega para Salah mientras que el City juega para Haaland
I don't know if AI is writing the script or is just the voice narrating the video but either way it seemed to have a bit of a meltdown for a 40 second period-
'Solonkay' instead of Solanke (08:52)
'stiffled' instead of stifled (09:18), and
'validitated' instead of validated (09:29)
You already see what he produces when he gets it right. If he improves, you'll see more of that!
the thing that stands out to me is his unwillingness to use the inside of his boot to pass the ball into the net, many of those sitters hes missed could have been goals if hed use the inside and go for a simpler finish.
Darwin is a highly creative player and a key contributor to Liverpool's goal-scoring prowess through his consistent involvement in plays.
Darwin, the most dangerous player
I could careless what rival fans have to say about my team its what I thinking that matters Darwin will have great time to shine I know that! YNWA
ive said it before he is like Suarez hitting woddwork alot then bang suarez improves his finishing and has the best EPL season ever
If Xabi does come I think he will be the catalyst to helping Darwin reach his potential and if that is the case he is going to dominate the league because he will become clinical and absolutely unpredictable and be a real Captain of Chaos
Great analysis
Darwin may be clumsy as a finisher, but Liverpool is way more dangerous with him than Diaz or Gakpo
Liverpool = views. We are massive.
This is exactly it....99% of the haters are from other teams. Obviously we would love to see him use every chance, but the thing is that these Chances wouldnt even be there if he hadnt been on the pitch really.
Not entirely unrelated but this anime, Hungry heart wild striker the MC reminds me of Nunez abit 😅 the initial temperament, trackback to defend, the wildshots its uncanny.
Exciting to watch him play, I hope he keeps growing and stays at Liverpool for a long time.
amazing analysis, subbed right away!
Erling Haaland for less? The money Raiola's family recieved was paid for city it didn't fall from the sky.
My man must enjoy riding Nunez tip.
"The SCARY truth about ____ nobody is noticing" trend is so hot right now. I keep seeing such videos in my feed even about players that really dont deserve such videos lol
every striker misses chances and that is normal BUT some of his misses are shocking and given his ability it is probably a matter of psychic and confidence
Less than Haaland? With sign on fees, Erling Haalands cost City 85 milion. On top of that he has a 375.000 per week salary, twice as much as Darwin, and bonuses can take him up to 800.000 per week. That's 42 milion per year, over a 5 year period that's 220 milion on top of the 85 milion transfer fee which takes him to a total of 300 milion. Darwin on the other hand will cost Liverpool 115 over the same period including the transfer fee.
Only problem is as soon as he explodes I don’t think he’ll be in the league much longer. Similar to Suarez, once he has his first world class season he’ll go to Madrid or Barca
I'm not 100% sold, but tbf a significant portion of my hesitation is the price. And that's unfair, my brain just refuses to accept those values since that amount of money is what you pay for a player who is in the tier below what I would say is world class. It's simply that almost everyone is so overpriced these days. It's also unfair to compare the price tag of him vs Haaland since his base wage is 140k pw 180k with bonus' and Haaland is 375k pw 865k with bonus' (according to the internet)
That said, I do think most people underestimate or undervalue the value of a player who is a menace. Someone who will constantly cause distractions, who is always somewhere dangerous regardless of if they have the ball or not. This creates opportunities but will never bump his stats. It was the greatest thing with Firmino, if you counted he things he did that created space or took players away which resulted in a goal without touching the ball, he'd have had easy double the assists every season.
dont worry us liverpool fans know his value
The man has won me about 2 grand from Liverpool hitting the post
Darwin is an outstanding payer. Yes, he needs a little more composure sometimes, but his all round game is just brilliant. Liverpool look so much better when he plays - the darting runs, the quick one-twos, the incredible pace and an ability to score ridiculous goals. My fear is a new manager will only see the missed chances and sell him.
