I was advised to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.
True, I mostly just buy and hold stocks, but my portfolio has been mostly in the red for quite awhile now. Unfortunately to be able to make good gains, you’ll need to be consistent and restructure your portfolio frequently.
In my opinion, it was much easier investing back in the 60s but it’s a lot trickier now, those making consistent profit in these times are professionals reason I’ve been using an advisor for the past 5 years to consistently build my portfolio in preparations for retirement.
My partner’s been considering going the same route, could you share more info please on the advisor that guides you?
Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Melissa Terri Swayne” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive.She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Money is not meant to control people rather it is meant to be put to work producing more money for you. You cannot build wealth without putting money in its rightful place.
People don't understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments don't match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.
Very possible! especially at this moment. Profits can be made in many different ways, but such intricate transactions should only be handled by seasoned market professionals.

Having an investment advisor is the best way to go about the stock market right now. I was going solo, but it wasn't working. I've been in touch with an advisor for a while now, and just last year, I made over 80% capital growth minus dividends.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Maybe it goes sideways or down in summer, but it peaks only in June-July, and before that it pumps like crazy in May. Next few months will be euphoric, forget about deeper corrections. Stock market is already oversold, put/call ratio near extreme levels, May is historically bullish for tech stocks (if earnings come out good). Bitcoin will probably chop around here and close month negatively (first time in 8 months), then to the moon! And even if there is a larger correction in the future, it will happen above previous ATH, that's where BTC.D dumps and altseason kicks in. So the fun is just getting started...It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Tobias Hawke, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

The market is not necessarily a rollercoaster if you know your way around it, but If you are not too savvy with the market, just buy and hold on strong companies with good earnings, or consult with advisors on ETFs and actively managed funds. Took my own advice and as of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m in months..

seek professionals support not some very cool and semi-knowledgeable guy on RUclips. Personally, I gather information on RUclips but verify with Stacey Macken . The only organization that was really hiring over the last year was The Government but they needed to give The Fed a reason to cut rates so they stopped hiring, now the Fed can cut in June, but the truth is that there has not been good hiring numbers for a long time......

Daniele forgets we ushered in gen-AI era 2 years ago, old metrics when comes to unemployment don't matter that much or have to get lot worse then previously thought to have effect on markets, lots of people getting replaced by AI-software services, Datadog, Snowflake, PLTR, etc. All these old-school pundits live in the old world with their old stats and measurements completely disregarding the fact we have new tech revolution on our hands and hence live in a completely new world.

I wanted to buy a leap option on palantir but like j said its run up too quickly! In my paper trading account I bought 3 palantir calls when it was $20 bucks. Those are printing fake money right now 😂

3 days went straight up . took profits. small holder . then scalped
bought calls at the open then bought puts 5min before the close. locked in profits and if the stock moves more tomorrow it will result in more gains. if it goes higher or lower with out having to do a day trade.
