Today I've got a thrift haul at the Goodwill outlet / Goodwill bins as well as some other thrift stores. Sharing a haul of some home decor and HomeGoods. This turned out to be a pretty massive thrift haul, so I am splitting it into two parts so keep your eyes out for part two later this week!

I think the washcloths alone would cost retail more than what you paid for all those towels! I’ve always shopped thrift stores for what I need, and I have had people mistake me for a wealthy person when they visit my home and see my stuff. It used to be a family game to put things on a list that we needed or wanted and just keep them in mind while I thrift shopped. Usually I’d manage to find them for pennies on the dollar. Such a fun way to live!
YES! Even one day when we have more money I plan to shop this way. It’s fun, better for the environment, and makes a house more homey too 🥰
They had even more towels than the ones I grabbed but we didn’t need them. I hope someone finds them and can appreciate them!
I love the phrase, "Romancing the ordinary." You can use pretty things for everyday and make your friends and family and yourself feel special.

Anything can be washed and sanitized. Only thing I won't thrift is underwear. I mean, those could be washed too but ya know 🤣 I would have no problem with towels in good shape from a thrift.
Oh my gosh with you on that one! It totally grosses me out when I accidentally touch a pair at the bins. I always wash up to my elbows when I get home 😂
People use hotel/motel/airbnb towels and sheets and they see no problem sleeping on those 🤷♀️ just like dishes people go to restaurants and drink and eat off the same thing 100s of people have but then can't go to goodwill and buy dishes. Makes no sense to me 🤦♀️

Every year I make the same resolution, to be kinder. To others, to animals, to myself. It has made me more cognisant of the things I say and do and more empathetic to strangers who might be behaving badly because of problems or having a bad day. Kindness disarms people in situations where in the past I have definitely reacted more negatively. But it always takes me working at it which is why it’s my constant resolution.
That is so important! I love that you refocus on it every year. It really is the most important and it takes constant growth 💕 love that! Thanks for sharing 💗

If chopping you pillows makes you smile then it’s not dated. I don’t much listen to what is “in” I tend to do what makes me feel good
Love that! All of those trends will go away eventually. Currently trying hard to focus on what I like and is practical for us with the big decisions in our new home. It’s hard to figure out!
I saw that someone mentioned chopping pillows looks low-end, but I disagree. We all have our opinions, don't we?! :) I think it shows off that you have a down/feather pillow, which means that it is more expensive.

I don’t chop my pillows-actually if they get a little slouchy I tend to add more stuffing :-) But I totally agree with Marge Burke…do what you like and I’d add that makes your stage of life more peaceful and love-filled.

So the pillow chopping thing, do whatever you like.......i get frustrated with designers that seem like they are dictating to the rest of us what is in and what is out. My motto with your home, your clothes, your hair.....do what makes you happy. Love your videos.

Ah you should have got the round vase and basket they were lovely , I went to one goodwill when I went to Pittsburgh when my daughter was studying over there. It was so big I live inthe UK and our charity shops are so small, you got so many good things I love doing charity hauls on my channel and I drop on some great buys , I really enjoyed watching your video and seeing what you found ❤
Hi Tina! Didn’t know y’all don’t have goodwill over in the UK. It’s such a business over here (which is honestly a bit disheartening) but I love saving the treasures that I can from there 💕 and you’re right I totally should have snagged those!!

Hi Mayra! So I live in Tampa, Florida, and that is where most of these clips were from. I tried to include the location in the clips from the thrift stores. But the real good prices I’ve always found at the Goodwill outlet where it’s all paid by the weight!! Do you have one of those close to you? And thank you and happy new year!! ✨🤍
@@EmilyGarbe yes, but it’s not aired condition and it gets crazy in there, I do go but not often, I love Tampa and it’s one of the places I’m thinking about moving to, another is Orlando. Hi, I live up in Riverview and have no idea where there is a goodwill bins except the one off the Gandy in Pinellas. Where else are the goodwill bins located in this area? If you don’t mind letting me know
Hi Roxie, I live in riverview too!! This bins was unfortunately in Mn while I was visiting my parents. It’s much better than that one off gandy 😭 even though I will pass on some good stuff there! There is one down in Bradenton and when we move, I will definitely report back on how that one is and if it’s worth the drive for you!
Im a 10 year resident and a transplant from Indianapolis. There’s like five bins stores in Indianapolis on every side of town. It’s amazing from where I lived. I could probably hit one bins store and six goodwill‘s within 15 minutes I don’t get what’s going on with the goodwill‘s down here why can’t they open the bins store on this side of the bay instead of the pinellas side just saying just venting I went to the one in Sarasota and I was not at all impressed
If you have difficulty making ends meet and you are a SAHM, you would be well advised with your keen eye to start a reselling business if you haven’t already.

You need to point your camera on the things your showing. Look how much room is above your head and NOT on the objects your showing. Seriously!!!!! Focus on the objects.
