What you didn't see is this... You'll need netting around your bed at night to keep the bugs at bay. If you like third-world countries, Nepal fits that catagory.
I will be honest I wanted to go to Alaska and stay there for few years away from civilisation with basic necessities but ya Nepal is a good choice too. It’s wayyyy cheaper but there are some cons too therefore I recommend to weigh in pros and cons and actually visit Nepal for few weeks to months and give it a short try and then later decide.

Thank you so much for this video. One problem with outsiders buying property is they can start buying too much up causing price increases for property and life. But also if you aren't retired yet and live in Nepal, what jobs can you do and how do you live
🙏 Thank you for the wonderful video ♥️ May I ask, is it possible to retire in Nepal from the U.K. as a native brit without any ancestral association to Napal, and if so, what are the entry and on-going requirements in order for one to do so? Yours in appreciation and with respect 🙏
@@kets4443 Unfortunately not. I would move to Nepal in a heartbeat were it a realistic possibility. Should the situation change I will update you accordingly my friend. Thanks for getting in touch 🙏
How long have you been staying in Nepal?I I am living for the past 40 years in Nepal. Beware that there is a serious corruption especially in the Department of Industry. Investment in Nepal is dubious. Visa long term are difficult to obtain. After 40 years I still cannot abtain a residential visa. Business visa are given for maximum 1 year ...or less. Your business has to be checked by 2 government persons. In my case, Everest National Park, means....flight tickets, accommodation, remuneration for absence at "work"...etc. Good advice, think very long before deciding.
Nepal is for Nepali people, not foreigners so don't try this nonsense. Our great kings made this country for us. Nepali has absolutely no influence from chinese, so don't bulshitt about that
Thanks for doing so much research! Definitely appreciated.
Our pleasure!
i wish their visa situation wasnt so short-term only, because it would definately be a place i would plan to retire to.
You can, if you're over 60..
