I always thought the children died first, Eileen stopped eating because of grief, while Jasper spiralled into insanity building the mansion. Cody and Kristen died first and second, Eileen died third, and Jasper died last, it’s why his urn is just on the ground, and everyone else is buried in the back garden.
@@PleasantSims I heard about another theory about children. If the family is resurrected, then both children will be in a positive relationship with their parents. But between themselves, Cody and Kirsten seem to know each other for the first time. It seems to me that one of the children died before the birth of another sibling. Or Kirsten was a toddler when Cody died and he didn't have time to take care of her. And then later Kirsten fell into the river and Eileen could not forgive herself for not keeping eye of daughter
Ooo your idea make a lot of sense!! Personally I think the girls died first because their graves are in the perfect little tidy spot, wouldn’t makes sense for them to bury the son off to the side when they could’ve done it next to his sister. But the father being the last one left wanted the grave next to the rest so he put him there, but off to the side because it wasn’t planned.
I don’t understand how in the sims 3 they made like 500 premade homes and family’s and the majority had personality and stories and lore and the sims 4 had like 8 families in the base game with none of it 🤦
My theory: Jasper tried to fix the tv, and tv caught into fires, Cody came to try and put the fire down, and Kirsten to "help" her brother, caught the fire and ran into the pool and drowned, Cody burned to death because he got surrounded in fire while trying to extinguish around the TV. I also would like to add that maybe Lydia drowned trying to "save" Kirsten. And at the end, as only living family member, Eileen died of starvation and grief for her husband and children.
I really love how there's a whole suite of secret rooms in the middle of the house, and how it's crossed by the bridge between the dining room and kitchen, and the wallpapered windows in the dining room. This house is so huge and quirky and awesome. I love building houses like this in The Sims (I do try to keep them bearable to play though) Personally I like to think some huge tragedy, through the grief or anger of the original victims, made the house an entity of its own, trapping unsuspecting Sims, always hungry for more. The House is an amalgamation of the ghosts who lost themselves to their grief over the years. And as Sims die, more rooms get built. And on that note, I'm so happy Cindy is getting sponsorships! Get that coin sis, you deserve it!
I just realized my theory doesn't make sense because the house was built by their uncle. Still like this concept though. Definetly will use it to make a family/house someday
I learned something new today. I didn't know that about the Haunted Mansion in Disney world. Also, I would love to see how a player gives this house a makeover.
Speaking of creepy Sims mansions haunted by dead family members, you don't have to of course but there's quite a bit of theorising and speculation on the Tricou family/House of Fallen Trees in Downtown as well as the teen downtownie descendants of Jon Smith Tricou, so I'd be curious to hear your take on all of that
I love Riverview and it's such a good world in the Sims. I love the lore and wish someone (more talented than I) could recreate it in the Sims 2. I would love to play with the Broke family before Brandi came along. I also love ghosts! I don't play supernaturals usually however ghosts I love because I personally believe in them and love to see my Sims ancestors.
Always enjoy your videos! Riverview is one of my favorite sims 3 world and I loved this backstory on the Remington. I’ve never actually played this household so I might have to start a new game after this :) Also I’m so happy to see a sponsorship on your vid and one that I’ll definitely be checking out.
Cindy I love these videos. You make more and stories in the sims sound so intriguing and I am here for it! Thanks for Another amazing videos and working so hard for all of us! Much love❤️ Also what a beautiful singing voice! It’s was just so beautiful
I grew up in San Jose and Winchester was always a huge deal. Its's awesome to find out a piece of my childhood was written into one of my favorite games. Thanks Cindy! 🙂
This weird house is the perfect excuse for the Sims team to make houses. They're basically all like that anyways, at least this one they have an excuse lol
These Sims 3 stories makes me wanna play the premade families so much! I'm familiar with the Winchester house story and I would've never thought one of The Sims families would be inspired by it. I don't know anything about the other sims. Anything. If I imagine how many families there are... that's quite a lot of lore I'm missing.
I figured the little girl died from going swimming while too tired (because sims do that way too often), Cody tried to cook with no cooking skill, ruining the kitchen and dying in the fire and Mom died because the kitchen was not operational just long enough for her to starve. Jasper died last while fixing the tv and I see no evidence of fire so he must have cleaned up and replaced the kitchen after his wife and son died, before his own demise. All the theories sound plausible, though. I love these lore videos! ~FM :)
I have a few things to address while I'm paused at almost 4 minutes in.. I'm really happy you were sponsored and that browser definitely looks interesting! Didn't know it existed! Something else though, I'm photosensitive because of my epilepsy and that sudden switch to light mode had me wincing already but the black and white start showing the house really needed an epilepsy warning. I scrolled down and only had a tiny line showing to know when it ended. Not mad at all, if something like that doesn't bother you you probably wouldn't even realise. But just in case you want to use something like that again (which is really cool and sets the mood!) maybe use a different way to edit. Love you Cindy!!
I loved this! I really enjoy learning about the lore in the sims 3 because that's the sims game I play most and it just makes it feel more real to know that they all have stories behind them. Your singing is amazing!!!! and you seem so happy and giddy I'm so glad to see that Cindy!!
Absolutely loved the surprise singing of the lore! I've never paid attention to this house or household, but now I'm interested in playing them. Great video Cindy!
I looove Sims 3, just look how gorgeus that sky looks from the hill. I love your sims 3 lore series, you're giving this game, some might say the middle child of sims series, much needed love. Great video, thank you! Also, great choice on ad. I love Opera as a browser, it's fast it has so many useful features and doesn't eat the ram like chrome does. You'll do your computer good if you switch to opera I don't even have chrome installed in my computers or phones anymore. I haven't tried the GX though, I should give that a go.
Yes get that sponsorship!!!! That made me happy hahaha, also wow the Sims lore really goes deep I had no idea about this family or the real life haunted house storie honestly

Cody and Kristen died first and second, Eileen died third, and Jasper died last, it’s why his urn is just on the ground, and everyone else is buried in the back garden.
Oh, I like that theory! That makes a lot of sense!
Your version is the most logical now that you put it that way.
This is the best theory I've seen regarding this family - makes total sense.

MORE SINGING YES
I‘m rewatching all of her videos and I literally fell asleep so peacefully bc of her singing omg!!
i love to see a sponsorship for cindy!! 💛💛💛
Thank you!!!
It’s funny, because in Sims 4 when rooms are unfinished they are just lazy, but in Sims 3 it’s because of lore 😂😍
can we appreciate CINDY'S AMAZING SINGING VOICE THO?
We need an EP soon.

Probably the team devs from sims 3 yeeted themselves out
I still recreate the sims 3 storylines in sims 4. You‘re right sims 4 has literally no personality
Same; I also recreate the 4 folk in 3 and let NRaas have at them@@Bellexxlux
I know riverview is the "free/plain/vanilla world" but i love it
I do too! I always love these kinds of worlds best though!
I'm happy that you got a sponsor! You deserve it Cindy 🥰🥰🥰
And you sing wonderfully, I love spooky stories like this one! Great video! 😍
Thank you so much!!
My theory:
Jasper tried to fix the tv, and tv caught into fires, Cody came to try and put the fire down, and Kirsten to "help" her brother, caught the fire and ran into the pool and drowned, Cody burned to death because he got surrounded in fire while trying to extinguish around the TV. Winchester Mansion out in the middle of nowhere. Dr. Moreau vibes. Great place to start a hunt.
