If we take connecting flight & lay over is in different country, then do we need to take visa for that country also( just check out & check in flight change over)..?
There are 2 conditions in this thing 1. If your airline is same & they are providing transfers, then no need of taking any kind of visa. 2. If you are booking different different flights. in this case you will claim your baggage and also for that you have to clear immigration and for that you will need visa for that country too.
For Malaysia & Thailand, is health insurance required for senior citizen? You said, bank statement required for Visa. If we carry sufficient amount (Ringgit/Bhat), then we need not carry any proof right?
They can ask you for bank statement It is recommended to carry for last 6 months. And also health insurance is not mandatory. But i suggest you to purchase 1. Kaafi sasta bhi hai nd kaafi kaam bhi aa sakta hai
@@Gobro_traveljust formality. How will they know last balance is same as in statement, it could be withdrawn after that. And also how will they know card is international transaction enabled. Just procedures. We should plan for coming back financially secured.
Thanks. You've answered all my questions. We are planning a family trip for both Malaysia & Thailand. Is 300 ringgits & 2000 THB enough per day per person for food, local transport(sightseeing) excluding hotel stay..?
There's a daily overnight train from Malaysia to Thailand, which departs Pedang Besar at 5pm local time. So you can book this train and can show at immigration office

There is no charges for visa as of now for both countries.
