Hi David! Glad to see you around again on youtube... Wanted to thank you for your amazing, detailed and useful videos, they helped me discover my talent as a goalkeeper and went from not playing to earning a couple of gold medals in a very short time. Nice tips! Safe hands 😉
That's amazing pal!
Delighted to hear that I helped with that journey. Continue to smash it! It sounds like you've already got a pair of safe hands, but long may it continue!
This tips made me make a clutch save when there were just 20 seconds left in futsal and thanks to it de drew the match!! However I twisted my knee and im out for at least 3 months lol
Hi Luis, ah man! Delighted that you made the save, hopefully being the hero lessens the pain a little! I wish you the speediest of recoveries. Let me know how you're getting on in a few weeks! Safe hands pal.
Simple and actionable tips. Thanks a lot David, I really love your work.
Great job dude! I just starting with goalkeeping in futsal and your advices is very helpful. Thanks man!
Great video as always! Loved the style of the animation!
If it’s the case of a pass then a tapin for the other player, if there is the slightest of poor touches, I rush out, split save in front of them sliding into the ball. It causes panic in both players and more often than not their pass is weak enough for me to dive on, or they shoot straight at me.
Very useful video, thanks Dave👍
That's a huge and very good point! I love causing panic line that. I considered this actually but didn't want to make video complex. Keep it simple. Safe hands Michael!
Great video mannn, i play as GK in friendly matches of futsal, due to my height at 5 10/1 77cm , because it's very fun,i like 1v1 but 2v1 are just too much for me and im beaten every time, when i have to face 2 players against just me,maybe because im not a real goalkeeper, with real training, but this video has been very useful since i watched it,thank you so much dude!
Ps i play football ,like i train at a small local team, and in my free time i play futsal in the park with my father and sometimes my friends,im too short to be a GK in football but not in futsal,it was never my objective to be a futsaller,i only play it to have fun
Advancing out also gives the goalkeeper less reaction time. If you have a good defence they will probably go for the offside trap. Then you don't have to worry about the supporting player. The main thing in these situations is positioning.
Great video! This helped a lot. Also, the animation was good since you don't need to spend 10 hrs on it you are just using it as a demonstration.
Great vid will start using the panic routine in my games, safe hands🖐️🖐️
Awesome! Pleased you stopped by! Safe hands Phil! 👐
Always best & sweetly illustrated..😊😊🙏🙏

Great!👏
Whey! Klem, Good to hear from you pal. Thanks!
Great video as always.
Nice animation knowing it's probably your first one
Thanks 😅. Yeah, it does the job well, doesn't need to be 3D or crazy impressive to explain a simple concept :)
Cheers for the continued support! Safe hands 👍👐
@@DavidHaynesGK simpler is sometimes better!
No, no, thank you for your videos, I have learned a lot! There is nothing better than making opponents angry 😁
And welcome back, mate! 💪🏼💪🏼
I’ve learned that in a 2 on 1 ( indoors with no offsides) if an attacking striker doesn’t have 100% percent control coming in and you come out of the goal, moderate speed first and huge burst as you go to the ground a lot of strikers will be more worried about getting hit than making a move with the ball and completely abandon the ball. They expect you to come out, they don’t expect you to actively attack the ball but the decision on their level of control is a decision that needs to be made fast, if you commit and they have full control, your going to get burned 8 out of ten times as soon as you go to the ground.
That's absolutely spot on! That change in pace and a burst at the end can really surprise a striker - Often allow you that spare second to intercept the ball. Yes, and us goalkeepers are fearless and those strikers tend to jump out the way when we come charging out! Love it.
Safe hands Ryan! :)
It sounds like silly advice, but it's not. Great video, thanks!
Amazing video
Thank you so much!! 😍👏
In Futsal I rather the direct shot because is way easier to defend
Any tips on how to stop your defenders from wandering upfield for corners etc and not tracking back on counter attacks?
In these situations, I just try to intercept the pass by the split save (sometimes it's successful)
6:07 🤣🤣🤣 my teammates
When im in 2vs1 i pray . thats all i can do
Easy 60% penalty success 8-15(16 17 18)YO.And yeh do u remember penalty tutorial. I did as u - try to stay in 1 side. I saved 6/6 penalties🤣🤣🤣My team know about this. They know that my chances r big)) But 1st my team was shouting: IDIOT GO TO THE CENTER! But I "ignored" them and striker was: LOL! Its really better than all another ideas to save a penalty. Thank u!
im concerned abt the second point stating the keeper has to run in pace to the attacking player..if the player passes the ball to the supporting player and scores..or even if we manage to go the the supporting player again he can pass the ball back to the attacking player this situation is f**ckin hard
A good way to save a 2 vs you is to stand still in the goal (ofc if that’s futsal/mini-football goal). You won’t be passed and theres a better chance to make a save
Yes, in Futsal (smaller goal) that is a valid strategy. I personally believe there is more benefit in rushing out to put the player with the ball to put him under more pressure.
But then, I suppose it does depend on how good you are at coming out vs. how confident you are in making the save on the line.
For me, I've always been very adept at rushing out, so it makes sense for me.
David Haynes yep, rushing out so he doesnt have time to think, 70% of the cases he’ll pass to the second player, then you can intercept that pass 🙃
@@CRS1947 ^^ Spot on. Safe hands out there! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Honestly in my opinion, standing still is really not a good tactic. First attacker will just bomb you when he comes in zone he is comfortable to shoot.
David Haynes Sure. Keep up the good work 👌
would love to watch this but the music is so grating and distracting
96% that strikerll pass so u should block a pass with ur hands and block shoot with ur legs. It s really simple.
Hey david, just a quick little tip: Speak a little faster
Okay! I'll keep that in mind. I have a lot of people watch where English isn't the first language so I have to be aware of that. I just try to be clear.
Although here's a solution anyone, If you press options on the video you can slow it down or speed it! That way it'll be better for you.
@@DavidHaynesGK yo I'm for Portugal and I like the way you speak. Is easier to understand
