My friends always tells me to put LED's in my terrain, and i tell them that were not playing in the dark anyways haha.

Sweet.
A game run with low lighting, where you see the board entirely by the light of LED terrain (and maybe some models done with glow-in-the-dark paint) sounds intriguing. Though it might be more trouble than it's worth.

Nice, have you thought about painting the inside of the furnaces with one of the liquid chrome paints? then maybe putting a piece of wax or parchment paper behind the grate as a diffuser?
