Time Series Analysis by Google Earth (Historical Imagery Option)

A few examples about the simple and effective use of historical imagery in Google Earth.
This is just a quick and overall information that can be used in some cases, especially when there is no information available about the activities performed in the past. It is sometimes effective in geology / mineral exploration.
Sometimes, it is also effective when the satellite data in a special area is not clear or we require a picture from a special season, and so on.
Time series analysis of satellite images are diverse and it is growing. There are even some websites using Landsat Imagery to study deforestation in the globe or…

Last year using google earth and checking through the historical imagery I spotted 2 fighter jets that were flying on either side and about 100 feet behind a silver disk that was 30 feet in diameter. This was in a very remote part of central China. It was just a fluke that I found it. The jets were leaving faint contrail but the disk wasn't. Seeing how much I could zoom in and sizing ground objects of like size I estimated they were flying at 44k ~ 47k feet.

Hey. I don't get your question but if you mean the tune of the colors, maybe it is because of the different times of the day that the satellite picture is taken but I am not sure
