How have you found the hybrid peak output is it enough for household washer dryer combined or will we need a second inverter to take a high load simultaneously

The 3.6kWh is fine for most things, especially with the solar as well. In the evening you may have to be more considerate about what you are using (i.e. not having the oven and washing machine on for example), but I also have the 5kWh from the Tesla Powerwall so not really something I need to monitor to closely.

Great video Dale. I have the same set up with with one 9.5kw battery but considering a second. Are you able to confirm how long it would take to charge the battery from empty to full based on your experience?

At the moment I cant really say, as due to the charging issue I am having I have struggled to get them to 100% consistently.
In theory I should be able to fully charge both from 0 to 100 in about 5.5 hours, but as mentioned in my first solar update video, the charge rate is capping out at 580w. I have GivEnergy here tomorrow to replace the primary battery which they believe may be the issue.

Why have you gone with a Zappi EV Charger when the new GivEnergy EV charger is available and will integrate well with your GivEnergy “set-up”?
    Thanks.

I had the original gen 1 zappi at my old house and then got the gen 2 zappi when I moved. I am really happy with how the zappi performs, but regardless GivEnergy didn't have a car charger available at the time, and I didnt know 2 years ago that I might go with a GivEnergy setup.
Plus I like how the Zappi and Eddi work together, and can have the wireless CT clamps with the Harvi.
      Thanks for watching and commenting.

No gateway? For off grid use I thought it was part of the new give energy system

      @SpectrumGeeks  2 месяца назад

The GiveEnergy All In One has a gateway, but not this solution. Currently the AIO does not allow you to add additional battery storage, and I want to be able to add another battery easily if I want. Also I am fine not having the entire house on backup, but if I did I would just upgrade the gateway on my Tesla Powerwall.

A very informative update Dale. That's great customer service by GSM. I was surprised you went for GivEnergy however having watched your update it looks a great product with excellent reporting and support. As others have said I am very interested to see how you will integrate your PW2 and how your ECO system works with the myenergi platform.

Deffo more info to come on how all the products work together.
Any particular reason you were surprised regarding the GivEnergy route?

@@SpectrumGeeks Hi Dale, only that as you had your PW2 I thought you might have gone for a Gateway 2 and additional PW. However from what I have seen you have chosen a great product. Looking forward to upcoming videos regarding your setup with interest.

Hi Great vid. Would be very interested as to how you will incorporate the tesla battery into your system. I have a tesla powerwall 2, Solaredge inverter and shed full of panels. Was told by givenergy that I could not intergrate their battery with tesla stuff. Looking forward to that video if you make one.

Sadly this seems to be the case when I spoke to any of the companies and installers, saying different manufacturers gear doesn't work with each other. However, I was pretty confident that AC and DC batteries could live together, with perhaps some efficiency losses.
Will be a video to come covering my experiences with the two battery solutions, and how I have things configured.

If the price point of Sigenergy is what I've been informed of by people within the industry, all other systems including GivEnergy and Tesla power wall will be obsolete.

Not a company I am aware of, I will have to take a look.
