Det italienske supertalentet Leonardo Colafelice hadde stor suksess som solist i 2016 med Rachmaninovs 3. pianokonsert. I 2018 kom han tilbake og spilte Rachmaninovs 2. pianokonsert. Et russisk praktverk fra den romantiske epoken. Pianokonserten har med sin sløsende, rike melodikk og glitrende, pianistiske, virtuose overdådighet blitt mange musikkelskeres favoritt og er også anvendt i utallige filmer.

I was blown away by the splendor of master Leonardo Colafelice's interpretation of this masterpiece by Rachmaninoff! It is simply phenomenal and every unevenness in my life today was subsequently smoothened out by this heavenly, five ⭐⭐⭐⭐ experience. And all praise to the conductor Giordano Bellincampi, the concert master Adam Grüchot and the fabulous Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. 👏👏👏 👏 🏆
