How so? I'm not a pilot. I'm curious how this would benefit a single pilot.
@@wyaldkingdom because intricately operating the throttle is one less thing a single pilot will have to worry about while flying this plane.
@@wyaldkingdom Think of it essentially as cruise control in your car. If you're not having to constantly look down to check your speed, you can focus on other instruments or traffic. One less distraction at 480mph is welcome.

honda actually used what they learned making MGU-H turbo components for the car to help them and GE develop the engine for these jets!

Wow... this is the private jet I’ve been waiting for... I’m ashamed to admit but even now... in my mid 30s I’ve only ever owned used private jets that are over a decade old... I always wanted to get a new one, but never found the budget fir it. But this private jet looks so great! I’ll finally spring for a new one with this model!

I think that one thing to improve is the performance for short runways, Phenom 100EV takeoff distance is 972m and 741m for landing.
Needs much higher by pass ratio like 12:1 which improves fuel economy, and much longer wings for even better fuel economy during high altitude cruise. Better range would make HondaJet so much better

The Over-The-Wing Engine Mount configuration is designed to reduce carbin noise and vibration. Through this configuration, we isolate the engines and separate them from the fuselage, put them up on pylons over the wing, and attach them to the long wings, introducing plenty of structure where vibration can be absorbed and dissipated away from the fuselage. Moreover, the HondaJet is powered by two GE-Honda HF120 engines, the quietest engine that you're going to find on this class of aircraft. Hopefully on this one the OLED fuel spit up button/screen next to the fuel port is standard! It's a great feature.
