In today’s video, I share with you guys my washday routine 💆🏾♀️. I normally wash my hair every 3 weeks ( unless I’m really lazy or have braids on then I wash it whenever I can ). You have beautiful thick hair. Try parting it in four sections, twist each section, and shampooing each section at a time. That way you can dispense the shampoo evenly and not waste any.❤️ You can do the same with any products.

Most of the times shampoo never foams on the first wash because of how dirty the hair might be. I normally use a little shampoo at first just to cleanse the hair a little, then I rinse that off and shampoo one or two more times (depending on how clean the hair turns out after the second wash) and that works with making the shampoo really lather for me. Hope this helps :)

The reason why your shampoo 'disappears' is because your hair is dirty so it won't lather well. Apply a small amount of shampoo first,rinse out then apply a generous amount the second time. It will lather well

the shampoo disappears if you haven't washed your hair in while because of all the oil and dirt, so its advisable to shampoo twice, the second time you apply you will see it lathers better because most of the dirt is out, then you can focus on your scalp. its better this way because you waste less shampoo XO
Watching this video as a natural that also hasn't washed my hair is a month is a sign that I should go do so 😭
Shampoo the hair twice, the 2nd time the shampoo will sud more. The first wash is rarely sudsy when you haven’t washed your hair for so long; dirt and dust build up prevents that.
Your hair type seems to be more of a 4b to me but I could be mistaken. 4C or 4B your hair is supreme 🦋.
Her bair looks colour treated/damaged so I don't think we can completely tell her texture unless she cuts off her ends

i think that you use twice as much shampoo because from the looks of the video, you have low porosity hair. In your case u should make sure your hair is complete drenched, and the shampoo would be easier to distribute. or u could also part it in sections.☺️

We just have to realize that some people are just born with a head full of hair (genes) and some are not.. if you fall in the latter category most times nothing you use will make your head full of hair it'll just make your strands healthy. ..just a gentle reminder. . Great video by the wau

I feel like when people talk about their hair and do similiar videos like this they should tell us their genetic background, like if people from their family just naturally have good looking hair. Cause i might follow this routine thinking its going to work meanwhile the girl just got the right genes.i know that people can still have good looking hair even without genes but it would be nice to know. And yes i know that everyone hair is different and that if this routine doesnt work for me it does not mean that she was lying

While genetics does play a part in whether your hair will look like her's after following her routine (I might get hate for this) her hair looks chemically treated. She didn't get much shrinkage from getting it wet. So if you have 100% natural hair it might not look the same. The best thing to do with natural hair care videos is to use them as a point of reference and build your own routine cause everybody's hair is different.

The shampoo probably not seeming like enough because it’s a moisturizing one and and I think those are more for when you wash your hair after like a week or 2 but after having braids I don’t think those are the best options I’ve had that happen and it made my wahs day longer than what is is lol

I don’t think you guys understand the weight it actually carries.It’s really disheartening and disappointing when we see people who aren’t 4c say that they are it makes us questioning why our hair doesn’t look like that,grow like that or why hairstyles come out differently. Instead of saying ‘’they’ve started’’ think about why so many 4c girls feel the need to correct people who categorize themselves as 4c,you don’t see any other hair type do that you also don’t see 4c girls claiming they are 3a
