I almost drove up there this morning to look for chert at Metcalf rock but it was raining. Lots of weekend homes in the area now

Strangely enough, I came across this while binging on Tolkien videos. I initially thought this was about the Ered Luin, the Blue Mountains in Middle-Earth. This isn’t, of course, but is nonetheless very interesting.

Thank you, I am so moved by this. My parents did a lot of research on the indigenous people of the area, even naming the streets of our subdivision "Wyandot Court" and "Petun Drive", in respect of this history. Whatever became of the burial ground on the Plater farm?

Hi Stuart, Thank you for your comment, so glad you enjoyed the film, and watching it to learn this history. The Plater farm is owned by a development company and it has not been disturbed at this time.

@@TheBlueMountainsPublicLibrary Thank you. I assume the burial ground will be preserved?
