Stephen A: "Kyrie what's your favorite color?"
Kyrie: "Well from my standpoint, it's not quite possible to have an actual favorite, due to the many varieties & unknowns amongst the color spectrum, but as a man with the will to make his own decision, my ego has been thrown away which leads me to the conclusion that it doesn't truly matter in my eyes"

Pizza Hut Employee- So would you prefer any topping besides pepperoni
Kyrie- Well when you put things into the perspective of how certain things should into your body you have to think as an individual is it the right thing to do im not here to throw any shots at what kinds of toppings i would prefer because i have nothing but love for sausage ham etc this is why im only choosing to only have pepperoni because at the end of the day i have to decide what makes me happy

TheWiseGuy If you are not in a corporate world, let me enlighten you. If you are going to resign, you should let the organisation know because you are playing a key role. That is why there is a 1 month transition period to find someone for your spot and turn-over confidential documents. This applies to Kyrie’s position. If this is his thinking, then he does not give a damn to the organisation that made him what he is right now.

Def not, When lebron first left Cleveland he didnt have the type of relationship with a player like he had with Kyrie the last few seasons, closest would be like Moe Williams lol. They literally looked at each other like brothers both on and off the court. Same with Russ and KD, they were "brothers" shit look at KD when he gave his MVP acceptance speech crying while talking about russ n shit...yet doesnt say one word to him after they blow the WCF and goes to the team that beat them. If Kyrie Irving could go back in time to summer of 2017, he would have not requested a trade from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Kyrie and LeBron were one of the best duos in the NBA during that time. It was individual egos and the sports media sadly that affected their relationship off the court but on the court they were one of the best duos in NBA history. The results and accomplishments from the Kyrie and LeBron duo were amazing!

Golden Screen Warriors bull. They always gave that boy his credit, would be hard not to. You can't just say "Lebron won the game" when basketball has more than one statistic. Maybe football lol, since it's just touchdowns and defense. A person can literally catch all the passes and run to a td multiple times with no blockers and beat a team 28-21 because the time ran out before the other team could score (not taking away anything from football). But basketball has blocks, assists, rebounds, steals, points, defensive consistency, offensive awareness and I'm pretty sure at the end of the game, all of those are a factor. I've seen football games where a team could play no defense and still win because of a star rb/wr. Or a team that only plays defense win from fumbles and interceptions. Basically what I'm saying is, it's impossible for one man to carry a basketball team, so everytime Kyrie did something, it was recorded and acknowledged.

I am. I'm also here because of Stephen A. Smith. Wow how things have come full circle! Here Stephen is asking Kyrie why he didn't talk to LeBron James before leaving Cleveland. Then the world saw how Stephen backstabbed Max Kellerman. Having him kicked off of First Take surprising Max in the process! All for the sake of "professional growth" and wanting to "go in a new direction." All while disrespecting Max on a tour of media outlets. Kyrie just left Cleveland to leave an underlying toxic LeBron environment. Many of us speculated it was true, such as myself. Only to see the toxicity of LeBron James and Klutch Sports fertilize and bloom in full force all before our eyes! Now we see Kyrie shining, happy, and at peace experiencing a complete renaissance! We're now seeing full karma being bestowed upon all of those who ostracized Kyrie with harsh and unnecessary criticism. Luka Donic is is also silencing his critics. This strangely familiar. Must be a Dallas Mavericks thing! A regularly criticized foreign player being told her can't win the championship with a hungry point guard who's been seen as underwhelming. I can't wait to see these Mavericks shock the critics like Nick Wright, Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A, and others to win the NBA Finals!! Apologies for this lengthy soliloquy. 🙏

True. Many sports hosts are looking really embarrassed and have been very humbled as things have come full circle! The toxicity amd narcissism of LeBron James and Klutch was under the surface brewing and Kyrie experienced it and graciously bowed out! Then the onslaught of critics occurred targeting Kyrie for years while LeBron James appeared to have.had escaped any blame and posing as the victim. Man has that LeBron James bloomed fully! Kyrie was able to self reflect, find his inner peace on a journey that saw his lose a lot. Now rising for the ashes is a quiet gracious man with a fire to win. He is able to share his experiences of criticism with Luka Donin who himself has been knocked for not winning Championships. Must be a Mavericks thing, as Dirk Nowitzki's journey sounds rather similar! Maybe it is just fate and the global nature of the NBA that is seeing these foreign players conquer to NBA. Meanwhile LeBron James and those in his camp sulk and feed excuses to the media. I want Dallas to take the championship not just win it!!

Showing your age Kyrie, you'll look back at this when you're older with that 1 ring on your finger. I get it, at 25, it's time to figure out your potential - most people understand. But it's odd to not tell your teammates/coworkers about it. If their opinion doesn't matter that much, then the decision is easy. You were afraid they might convince you otherwise. We all have used those "it's ultimately my decision" words before. Hell, LeBron's made as many mistakes at your age too. Nobody is perfect, but you will regret the way you left. To say you don't really care if LeBron is sensitive to not being spoken to, speaks volumes about how you treat your "teammates". Good luck in Boston!
