  • Daniel had the most incredible career imaginable; he was transported as a teenage captive to a pagan empire and became the primary confidante to the ruler of Babylon. When Babylonia was taken over by its enemies, he rose to the second or third position in the Persian Empire. There are only two people in the Bible other than Jesus Christ of which no evil is spoken, Joseph and Daniel.
The book of Daniel is in two halves: the first six chapters are historical, which deal with the adventures and career of this remarkable man. The second six chapters are some of the most pivotal and important prophecies of the entire Bible. Without a clear understanding of the book of Daniel you will not understand the times in which we live.
This study contains 16 hours of verse by verse teachings.

For what it's worth... so many of us have been encouraged to be students of prophecy. Recently my wife was reading a passage during a family prayer... psalm 107:29. It hit me ... wait a minute that's the prophecy about Jesus' calming of the storm at Galilee. For me it was a wow moment and I remember fondly how Chuck Missler would say... for what it's worth.

Bro Missler has really helped me see the Book of Daniel with far more context than I ever received before his presentation.

Yeah me to. I've always had faith but was far from living a righteous life with GOD in it. The 70s was a fun time to live.

I'm seeing an increasing trend to marginalize scripture by pastors on YT. To make "difficult" scripture an allegory or literally device of some kind on what appears to be an attempt to appease skeptics. Nothing new under the sun. How long before Daniel, Joseph, Gideon, Moshe are all mere mythology?

Myth.. ..in the hearts of the non believers

@uwekonnigsstaddt524 Contend earnestly for the faith. My God is the creator of this Universe. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Michael Heiser used to say the bible is the myth that is true.
Its already viewed as myth by those who don't want to believe.

@ferdnerkel Scripture isn't myth. The point of my comment is that Clergy across North America are uncomfortable preaching outside the book of Romans. Chuck used to talk about bringing a Bible with him to tear pages out, to make a point. Believe or don't believe.

@NoManClatuer-pd8ck we know this, it's that the clergy has been forcibly overtaken by non believers. The communists have been working for over a century to pass laws against discrimination that require churches hire pastors that do not believe. Just as it was at the first coming of Jesus, so it is with the second. People are going back to the small, home church because the organizational system doesn't feed their sheep.
