I hope I am wrong, but I predict Portals will not acquire the adoption needed to justify paying for something which is already available for free on other mediums. They've dined out purely on a utopian idea that simply won't be adopted in this space. I've being saying this since inception, and I say this now, despite the fact they've pivoted.
Your prediction may be correct, but I think there will be plenty of free things you can do. And if you want to pay more, there will be options. Interesting.
