I mean almost anyone can learn how to play, but mastering it is even harder IMO. As someone who has been playing for 10 years, I can say that not everyone can play the piano.
I can play (Sorted by my skill): Piano (ARSM) Violin (Grade 7) Soprano recorder (Grade 7) Tenor recorder (Grade 6) Viola (Grade 6) Pitched percussion (Grade 4)
If you got music running through your veins I bet you could play any of these. My middle music teacher played all the instruments. I ask him how he did it and he told me anyone can learn if you have the ear and patience.
Violist here! (NOT VIOLINIST) if you are interested for whatever reason, the Viola is basically a violin sized cello, played like a violin... it is NOT pronounced Veye- Hola, it is pronounced Vee-hola... (Obviously there isn’t many of us so I’m taking this opportunity to get the word out there lol)

I can piano, ukulele, drumset, all mallet percussion ie xylophone, recorder, sing, clarinet, guitar, violin, triangle, gong, bongos, Conga, synthesizer, castanet, tambourine, bagpipes, wood block, and hand bells. I grew up musically inclined and violin was by far the hardest to learn.
@@sharithul9983 that’s impressive. I commented this 3 years ago and since then I’ve developed a trauma response to music. I don’t play anymore. I now do car audio so stereos and subs. It’s amazing how people can ruin your passion

Trombone and violin both require a lot of moving limbs to play, particularly when changing notes, and they both have to be held up by the player. Other string instruments have bigger spaces between notes and aren't as particularly precise in intonation. Other brass instruments have valves as their primary method of changing pitch. Both violin and trombone are open-ended feeling to the player and require a lot of muscle memory and specific spacial recognition parts of the brain, something like that.
@@maxwellkowal3065 I play the trombone but not the violin but I do play other instruments. From my experience they are all equally hard as getting to mastery in any instrument will always be difficult.
