heres my problem with the presented KPIs: when talking OEE (OEE= Availability * Quality * Performance), you already have the production downtime as well as the first time yield included Availability = Planned production time - planned downtime/planned production time (so its a measure of unplanned downtime) Quality = good parts produced/total parts produced (so its a measure for bad parts) performance = total production (including bad produced goods)/planned produced goods therefore your kpis are redundant, i would rework this video if i were you
Performance is a measure of rate or speed ... actual units being made per second/minute/hour ... divided by the theoretical maximum rate of the process. Availability is the time that the production line is actually running product during the work shift ... divided by total time in the work shift.
While this video might have valuable information, I cannot watch it. Reading a PowerPoint is one of the Cardinal Sins of presentations. You have sinned, good sir. Take my down vote and use it to motivate you to do better.
yeah elaborations were needed mostly in the formulas where I dint got clear because the person was reading the slides. Kindly elaborate the formula for first time yield. There is a confusion bw the total items used in numerator and denominator.
Thanks for letting us know. The world has been losing sleep for decades for not knowing your opinion on a RUclips video. Take my comment and use it to motivate you to be relevant.
Hello, thanks for the lesson. I have a question. In what does KPI differ from specification limits?

Thank you for your feedback, Sean!
