Days Gone - THE WAGON ROAD AMBUSH CAMP - The Best & Easiest Ways To Take Out This Camp.

- Hi folks, on my Ambush Camp series of videos, I focus all my attention on one particular Ambush Camp, and on this video, it's THE WAGON AMBUSH CAMP that gets my full attention. On every video, I will show an Optimal method (a method which I consider the best & done with resources only available at the time you likely take on this camp), a sniper rifle method & also a horde option should there be one nearby (There is a horde option, but it's a lot of work, lol). On this video I also show for the first time, another effective method for the largest Ambush Camps, and that's the Residue Bolts option.These videos will become a valuable guide for anyone looking to make light work of any of the Ambush Camps in Days Gone, and of course, if you have better weapons than what I am using, the job will be made even easier. Every camp is taken out with the difficulty level of Survivor II, so this is as hard as it will be for anyone, so on easier difficulty settings, the job will be a far easier affair. Thank you so much Violet. A lot of the camps I didn't feel required the bolts, but these rippers are insane & extremely entertaining to watch. Actually wish I had included a residue bolt run for the ripper camp in the North, but not to worry. The last 3 camps left to show all have residue bolt runs included. Surprisingly not that long Ben, as once you know their moving patterns, a good run route can be worked out, and practice started on it in around 1 hour . Sometimes need a bit of tweaking of course, but I love showing the optimal methods when they are working perfectly. Thank you for watching my friend.

Boris, great content mate! Despite having almost 300h played, I NEVER actually managed to clear this camp in complete stealth or without raising alarm. Currently replaying hordes and ambush camps and have recently done this camp. Used silenced bfg and rock chuck, sneaked in and worked my way around from the left taking all out without anyone being aware thanks to an earlier vid of this camp you posted previously. I love taking out camps now I have these weapons. Appreciate your continued content, can't wait to see your new playthrough as promised.

I think I'm going to stop saying how much of a hard time I've had with some of these camps because after seeing how easily you clear them , people are going to think I don't know how to play video games lol. Nice change of pace to see you using the crossbow with the residue bolts, as that was a favorite of mine to use in taking out camps. Your videos never disappoint and this one was a banger as well !

I should have included the residue bolts earlier, but a lot of camps I thought never really needed them (although the ripper camp in the North should have had one as the rippers are so entertaining, lol). The last 3 camps all feature residue bolts, and a lot more runs coming for the last 3. Hope you enjoy them all my friend.

The residue bolts are always so satisfying for me. The only downside is that I can’t carry a sniper rifle at the same time, but for ripper camps I think it’s absolutely worth it! Bonus is that I can go around and clear infestations with the incendiary bolts on the same trip. 🎉
Couldn't agree more Charity. In my new playthrough, the residue bolts & Incendiary bolts are going to play a big part. I'll miss a sniper rifle though, lol.

The 2 iron butte camps are my favourite ones in the game. Residue bolts are a hilarious way to let them kill each other

I scared myself on this game. Went past a horde cave area where i thought an endgame horde would reside ( I haven't long started the game on survival I) . There's me parked my bike up, ran towards the cave only to find out that the Westfir horde was inside the cave. Absolutely shat myself and got the fuck out of there and ran. Still managed to complete the horde by foot
Nice. There are some amazing scary points that Bend Studio have incorporated into this amazing game. Of course, not knowing what caves are empty or not, also makes for some interesting situations, that you have found out about first hand, lol.
Great stuff as always! More than once I’ve seen a glitch where the last ripper never emerges from the bunker, so it’s impossible to complete the camp. I haven’t found any way to deal with it other than go away for a while, let the whole camp respawn, and start over from scratch. 🤬

I too experienced that glitch when facing this camp just yesterday. The use of residue bolts is so entertaining. I’m never armed with crossbow for camps in late game but gonna have to try it.

Love the idea. I know my friend @SpawnicusRex did something similar on one of his videos where he took them to a few camps, but I don't think he took out every camp. May try this one, but will take a hell of a long time to make with some of the journeys involved, lol.

Hello! ( i finished the game already and did all the missions ) Can u tell me how can I play certain missions again or parts of the game if I didn't make separate saves for each mission or for the part I want to play ?
Well mate, once you've completed the game and taken out all the hordes & ambush camps, you do get the option to restore them (you need to pause the game with the options button, and the reset hordes should be at the bottom of the menu options). but to replay other missions, if you don't have game saves, you need to play through the game again my friend to get them.
