Yeah the problem is the rod im using is on the ultralight so if I where to lift up a fish I would risk snapping my rod ! I prefer fighting fish on ultralight so it’s ok if I lose some.
@@JettyMan the fishing net looks like it's attached to a telescoping paint roller pole!! I find Ergo nets and I'm willing to bet they are using the standard paint pole end thread. I have a couple sizes so it would be sweet to use a short one in the kayak and a long one in a boat or beach or pier.

The small blue rod is a pan fish elite light from bad pro shops 7’2 and the other bigger rod is a light tica 9’6 salmon steelhead
