Brasília has 2 seasons: dry (May to September) and rainy (October to April). This was shot in dry season, the grass is yellow/brown.
Brasília has a very dry climate, which is why many public buildings have what we call water slides to cool the air. Brasília is so dry that those who are not used to it get nosebleeds when they arrive in the city!
01:35 - The round building is a soccer stadium. It is round on the outside, but the field is obviously rectangular (Arena BRB).
04:12 - The main government offices, the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies are the oval buildings. One is concave (the Senate) and the other is connected (the Chamber of Deputies). In the center, the tall building is the headquarters of the presidency.
NOTE: The architect who designed Brasilia was Oscar Niemeyer. He also designed the ONU building (United Nations Organization), as well as many other famous buildings around the world. He was a modernist and is world famous!

Sou de Brasília, a capital fica numa região que chamamos de cerrado, com grama marrom durante a seca e árvores retorcidas (semelhante a uma savana africana), mas quando começa o período de chuva fica tudo muito verde. Como a capital foi construída toda planejada, os prédio não são muito altos, para não impedir a visão céu azul, a parte que aparece no vídeo é o centro de Brasília, onde ficam localizados, a Rodoviária que conecta a todas as cidades da região, o Conjunto Nacional (Shopping), o Teatro Nacional, a Biblioteca Nacional, a Catedral Metropolitana de Brasília, com a praça dos três poderes no centro com diversos prédio dos ministérios que governam o país, além do Palácio do Planalto, sede do poder Executivo federal brasileiro; o palácio do Supremo Tribunal Federal, sede da corte máxima do poder Judiciário; e o palácio do Congresso Nacional do Brasil, sede do poder Legislativo federal.
Peço desculpas pela correção, mas Brasília fica no cerrado, a caatinga engloba apenas alguns estados do nordeste.

Brasília é uma cidade muito suja em todos os sentidos. No sentido literal, há muita poeira e falta de cuidados com gramados, jardins e fachadas dos edifícios, que ficam totalmente à mercê das intempéries. Isso também reflete a negligência dos governantes não apenas com a cidade, mas com o país inteiro. Definitivamente, Brasília não é um lugar aconchegante.
