I'm a huge fan of the retrain trend we've seen the last few years. Giving players the opportunity to ACTUALLY compete with Yubel and Horus is so cathartic
It's so amazing to see these old archetypes (Horus, Yubel) making a comeback, I remember pulling one of the Yubel cards myself back in the day, this brings back memories man. Also that Sunset Beat must be the most beautiful card I've ever seen!
They missed a chance to put a DaD retrain in this set. Would have been a throwback to the og Yubel set.
Horus the black flame deity and the ashened cards are my favourites from this set. Ashened as an archetype looks good
Horus should have been ghost rare. IMHO
It was really fun seeing how excited you were opening this without knowing all the cards. You getting amped at all these new cards made it such a fun video!
The Ghottic is based on the vanilla monster "Wretched Ghost in the Attic", which was a common in TP8. The whole trend with the Mementotlan archetype is retraining classic vanilla monsters.
Also a fun fact about "Master of Ham" is that it's stats (Level, Attack and Defense) are all exactly half of the stats of "Master of Oz" (Half of Level 9 is 4.5, rounded up is 5). Pretty neat little easter egg!
I have to agree, that cover art is so amazing, I also really like the purple/red theme! Favourite card is probably Poplar, it makes Fire decks just sooo strong!

These cards are all so cool! For nostalgia value I really like the Yubel support, they are actually kind of good cards once the next wave of support is released too. Other than that my favorite card in the set is definitely the Promethean Princess, such an awesome staple and power card for FIRE decks 🤘😎

These retrains are very pretty and I'd love to see more for the older cards that never had their clear archetype shown off. Love the new Yubel, ive always thought the card was cool when i was younger.
Love it when they make a good Ritual archetype, the Voiceless cards are great to see. it seems shortsighted though since the ritual spell mentiones the new skull guardian but old saffira, and then they go and make a saffira retrain in LEDE
Ashened looks like a really fun archetype so those are my favorites from this set. Great opening!

The reverse metamorphosis spell seems like it could have some crazy applications
Excited for Swallow's Cowrie as a Floo player, was a nice surprise to get some kind of Floo support even if it wasn't direct.
Favorite card in the set has to be Lo, the prayers of the voiceless voice. I love combo decks and the art looks amazing, really excited to see what the deck can do competitively

Yubel retrain is great, but personally, I am super excited for the Raidraptor boss monster. Feels like you have pulled every card that I am looking forward to in this opening video haha.

Yubel - The Loving Defender Forever is my favorite. Seems like a good boss monster for Yubel and the Flame Wingman reference is cool.

Yubel the loving defender is definitely my favorite card out of this set. There is a lot of good cards in this set I'm pretty excited for the voiceless voice and the new ashened cards.

Nice pulls, would be amazing to try to get some of the Ashen cards, really love their debut, maybe they will get some better support in the future. Priestess of the Ashen City is easily my favourite card of the set!

My favorite card in the set is easily Veidos the Eruption Dragon of Extinction. Not only an aesthetically beautiful card, but in terms of its effects it's also one of the most interesting hand traps ever printed.
The new Ashened archetype looks awesome and yes, it’s great that those are not expensive. You are really lucky for pulling a QCR hope you get more tomorrow and on Fridays stream.
