The only thing that could make this game scarier than it is right now would be more realistic graphics
I think the graphic style compliments the game
There's mods for that

The game looks like poop for a reason, it’s a style choice but it also makes limiting vision easier and allows models to be swapped out for lower polygon versions of themselves more easier when far away.
