Toyota full hybrids are more economical when driven within city limits.
Hey!
Just ordered one last week
I just want to ask, in city traffic, when you are stopped at red lights you put the e-cvt in N (neutral) or do you use the auto-hold button?
Thanks!
both, but most often I put it in Neutral
Don't use the N otherwise the petrol engine will not charge the battery when needed
Ты остаёшся на D т.е движение. И надо правую ногу на тормазе держать.и потом зелёный на газ и всё
good video .. a good result on motorway for this litle suv hybrid from Toyota ...i think, the toyota Yaris Hybrid must be less in consumption in this case 😉
Для пожелых людей это очень круто. По городу от 50 до 60 работает эл. Мотор если быстрее подключается бензиновый мотор где-то так.
In winter at 110km/h 5.5l%
In summer at 110km/h 4.8 - 5l%
At 130 is 8% real
hey, was the EV working at 130? What about 140? Is there an upper limit when the EV does not engage anymore? How was wind and engine noise?
Ev works until 90kmh or 100 after that only on coasting downhill on highway untill 130kmh. After that engine wont turn off if speed is more than 130. Sound is ok.
Sorry man, but no B (rake) for regen, only use it at high value of SOC (75%) nothing else. Good work. Keep going.👍
B uses engine compression mostly
with current consumption only you can see the current consumption. Not with total everage!!
that's right, that's why I'm rec my videos, to see the current consumption, and with it the average ...
@@carinik so...what is the consumption on 130km/h?
@@tg-zq5jk 5,7 - 6 l
@@tg-zq5jk my real consumption in winter is 8% at 130
Is it noisy at 130 kmh?
Я делал пробу езду незнаю как по русски, мне очень понравилось.по цене меня тоже устраивает. Взять другие модели которые по больше типа RAF -4 итд.они круче но и на порядок дороже.
very very good
Think I’ll stick to my skoda superb 190 BHP combi which on a motorway cruise at 130 will return 6.2 liters per 100
And what is your fuel consumption in city cycle? Additionally, you are comparing two completely different cars here.
In citiy, 8l/100 km. And Egr,dpf problems.
My e350cdi estate gives me 7l/100km at 130km/h I think it is a bit to much for hybrid Toyota
You cant compare a diesel limo with a petrol suv😂 on the motorway you dont get an advantage from the hybrid, more in the city and outside the city
Petrol engines have a hard time to do under 0.6l/100km even if you buy a small 3-cylinder engine on the highway, mixed driving the hybrid eats a diesel all day and a plug-in hybrid is even better since it can do alot of km only electric on shorter drives.
Hard to compare it to a diesel and tbh 0.7l/100km isn't good either, a BMW diesel 6-cylinder xDrive isn't even that high on the motorway.
7% is not real the car lies. Check with full on full tank on a known distance. U'll have at least 2l more :) thrust me
yes, it runs on Diesel wich has more Energy per liter and it is more aerodynamic and STILL needs more fuel . I dont think this says somthing bad about the yaris. cross.. The normal variant of the yaris is about a litter lower at 130 km/h just because of the aerodynamic beneefits of its shape. The cross variant is not a a great cas for high average speeds... But apperently still not as bad as a pupose build autobahn car from a few years ago. lol
you are showing average consumption, wtf
What is the tyre size?
215/55 R17
This 3 cylinder engine noise sounds a bit not on the pleasant side in comparison with Prius or Corolla 4 cylinder engines. Might be a great car for town driving and B roads but motorway journeys the larger hybrids definitely wins.
yes, i have to confirm. driven one about 1000km and it's annoying actually
Is it comfortable to drive this car for long distance (500-600km)?
definitely yes :)
it is actually very cozy and comfortable
terrible car in the highway and in the mountain ,i have it...too much noise , the engine scream, the gear scream, the wind scream, in the highway it looks suffer all the time and consume like a normal car more more chipper
Vozi malo dalje. Do Slavonije i nazad. To do Otoka nije nikakva relacija
sorry but Diesel or Petrol ⛽?
only avalible in petrol or hybrid combination :)
Sir at what speed the engine noise come into cabin
At 130 above
It seems that it's very loud inside, isn't it?
Quite the opposite one of the quietest cars out there in my opinion.

If you consume about 6L. and it has a 36L fuel tank. it is very bad !!
Decent range of 600Km definately better then Ford Puma
