    Wonderful ❤
    Facsimiles, restorations, recreations ... they are all the best. But I really love the charm of a muddy facsimile. Great video.

    Nice & helpful review. I'm leaning to Artisan for size & rounded corners! Wish it were facsimile & had Flornoy's cream background though.

      The Artisan is a great choice for someone who will be using it as a working deck. It's beautiful and shuffles like a dream.

      @@MarilynFromTarotClarity Now I'm leaning to a facsimile deck, Burdel, Madenie, Chosson or Convers, but I don't have $70 to drop for shipping to US. Suggestions please? I have the comical Burdel Majors from Lo Scarabeo & would love a facsimile of that. Thanks.

    • @MarilynFromTarotClarity
      @MarilynFromTarotClarity  10 месяцев назад

      Comical Burdel? Is that a typo? I'm not sure I understand your question, are you asking for insights on an affordable facsimile deck of one of the decks you mentioned? The facsimile decks aren't typically inexpensive but $70 for shipping sounds excessive. Yves Renaud decks are reasonably priced (I haven't bought one in a while but I don't remember them being very expensive). ~ Marilyn

      @@MarilynFromTarotClarity Thanks, it's the shipping that's $$. Not a typo about comical nature of my deck...as compared to awesome facsimile. Just posted video...anyway it's a doorway to finding what I really want, thanks to videos like yours & others.

    Thanks, Marylyn. I have the Peterson deck, which I like very much. Of course the Bennedetti, with that lovely paper.....sigh! I also like the Artison. I won't be getting another Noblet, but I would like a deck made by Bennedetti and one made by Artison. It was interesting seeing the decks compared. Thanks, again!

    Thank you for this great video Marylin, I have the Noblet from Marco Benedetti, is that normal that the drawings are like blurred, especially the pope, l’amoureux and Le Monde? and some cards are reddish, did u notice as well ? Is that because the original was that way initially ? Thank you ++

    • @MarilynFromTarotClarity

      Hi! I just pulled these 3 cards from both of my facsimile decks: the Benedetti and the Peterson. The quality of line between both decks seems to be identical in my decks. I don't see any blurred lines. I did observe that the orange ink was more saturated in the Benedetti and I'm not sure if that's because Peterson manipulated the light to tone down the color. The registration of the orange did overlap some in both these decks, but it was less obvious in the Peterson because of the lighter, less saturated color. I tend to believe that Peterson might have tweaked areas to make them more visible, and Marco's was more of facsimile deck but that has just been my own observation and not necessarily fact. I hope this observation has been helpful. ~ Marilyn

    Thanks for this. Right now Peterson and Flornoy are accompanying me on my travels, the equally beloved Artisan rests at home. I am delighted that you brought my attention to the type errors on the six and eight of cups. It makes me love the Noblets even more. My Peterson is the cream version, with slight rounds to the corners for comfort, which visually hardly notice. The Flornoy has evaded being used much, due to its spikiness and resistance to shuffling. Its too good not to use. It might be collectible but I’d rather have a useable deck, so I’m now riffle shuffling the cards till they flex up! If I had my rounder with me, I’d rid those stabby corners, too. All in good time.

      Hi Sorcha, thank you for sharing your thoughts. Deck anomalies give a deck personality for sure! The Noblet is a great deck for travel. I usually always take one copy of Noblet when I travel. I've only ever altered one deck, but I kept the original intact and bought a copy to alter. Whatever we do to a deck to make it ours, makes it more magical. ~ Marilyn

    Unfortunately, you didn't specifically emphasize that the wonderful light blue in the newly released Artisan Tarot has turned into a dull gry mush. The red has become a dull brown-red, everythings looks the same. Live has disappeared from the cards and what remains is a design product.
    Which both also also in the Canver Tarot. It's a shame, I was happy for nothing.
    I think that with a comparison like that, people should be made aware of it.
    No offense - I love your Videos, but that was too much for me.
    Sorry for my English, I live in Austria.
