The absolute peace of letting everything go and the complexity of this movie i feel is beyond many peoples sight but for someone who does deal with a personality disorder i feel i understand a little better the fact that Tyler is his biggest enemy of his self and at the time time the biggest power moves are done from these insane angles of being lost and trying to find yourself while consistently fighting at war with your own brain and what it wants its really beautiful this edit is kinda therapeutic to me ... To be lost in your own unwanted desires
No it is constant chatting with ur own self and accepting or ignoring ur own truth of it while emotionally or mentally being weaker and weaker and at last loosing the sight of reality of what's real it's painful but same time and adrenaline rush greater than any drug its like floating on a cloud but simultaneously trapped in cave experiencing claustrophobia. It's hard to even fathom what I have just said but it happens when u have ur whole life lied to ur self for some reason or because u cannot deal or live in ur day to day life or some incidents which u cannot just accept. FIGHT CLUB is an exception because it shows nearly what happens I won't say it's perfect but entirety of it it's almost true and real this is what happens. Absolutely.
Anyone who believes this movie was written for wannabe tough guys missed the entire point and deeper philosophical themes throughout. One of the most impactful movies of the last century IMO
"Loosing all hope is freedom." Some people really needs to hear this. I knew this was the truth but still kept trying hard to achieve my impossible goals. I knew it all along but was too full of pride to accept the reality. It was only after I let go of everything and embraced the loser I am that I felt alive again.

To be lost in your own unwanted desires
Is personality disorder similar to what is shown in the movies or do they dramatize it for entertainment?

I guess there is an appeal to having nothing left to lose. Like a weight off your shoulders.
If the Narrator let go, Tyler would have disappeared because he knew he was no longer needed
