As a Wolt courier who started few months ago, a lot of your experiences seems to be similar to what I've gone through. Lots of interesting tips as well. I went little big length and took out loan for e-scooter which so far seems to be good decision. I make around 15 orders per charge which is 3-4 hours of work (sadly city I live in has lots of hills and that drains battery faster). I reckon my friend said similar thing to me about passive income to make a website/course about "how to and tips and tricks for new couriers" which seems to me is your next step. I'd love to share and collaborate in terms of using e-scooter as a transportation method, what accessories are worth and so on, I'd be glad to share my experiences.
Thanks for the suggestion! I never planned to sell anything on the website. It's just some info I wish I knew before starting out and wanted to share. I'm might work as a courier in the summer again, and I'm thinking to buy an e-bike this time or an e-scooter. If you don't mind sharing, what kind of e-bike you bought?
@@JustaDudeinFinlanddo you mind sharing some info ? I am going Finland- Joensuu soon so I am planning to buy an E-Bike or something else would you mind sharing some info and how much you make monthly on average ?
@@ElmiInFinland Hey, welcome to Finland! I'm not sure how much you can earn in Joensuu, as it differs a lot from city to city, so I can't say for sure. I worked a bit in august, and I'd say that the pay per order has decreased by 0.2-0.3, but otherwise very similar conditions. Best of luck!
Cool video, been a bike courier myself in Helsinki. I stopped the Wolt though in the end of 2022. I checked on it recently wanting to get some extra cash and once discovered the new algorithm I decided not to work for them anymore. I was able to get some decent earnings from it but can't say it was a good main income source. However there were days I would make >150eur if went out during lunch and dinner times. Crazy they have decreased the earnings since everything is more expensive.
They can give you the gear, like backpack and jacket, and will deduct 75 euros from your first salary. Or you can get them yourself from some other brand, it's not required.
What about the bonuses for example we in Serbia have bonuses on some number of delivery's, 180 here is the weekly target, can you tell me do you have it and what was the exact number for that bonus
Where are you from? İ live in Azerbaijan here, an order is at least 1.5 kopecks manat ( 0.90 euro ), and you have at least 4 euros, which is a lot of difference
I suppose the living (food/rent/electricity, etc) is 4x cheaper, too. I would love to visit Azerbaijan some time. I love the people. And they say that's where my people originally came from, thousands of years ago.
Hello dude! Thank you so much for this video! I'm definitely planning on working as a wolt courier this summer if I get accepted quickly enough. I'm new to this so definitely having some tips helps a lot! Btw did you use a power bank for the deliveries? I have worked as a chef in Finland for over 3 years but let me tell you that personally i would prefer riding on little blizzards that continuing getting 12 Euros per hour in constant stress and inequalities. Would you be fine if we exchange contact information? I live in Helsinki
I did carry power bank with me at all times, but I usually worked a bit closer to home in a 3-5 hour cycles, and my iPhone 12 managed to stay mostly alive :)) But yeah, I'm not 100% sure if wolt is less stressful than restaurant work. It's very frustrating when you have 0 orders for hours (can easily happen). I'd recommend trying out both, and figuring it out for yourself.
hi ,i have question: if i have work permit in helsinki ,can i open food delivery account by car in wolt or foodora fastly or should i wait a few months or 1 year ? thanks lot..
@@JustaDudeinFinland Damn, i used to work for deliveroo in germany before they shut down and i gave up very quickly as i don't speak german and communication in english was difficult. Respect, you last way longer than me lol
I still have my Master's degree to complete, so I can't leave just yet lol. But yeah, I get the feeling, also think about leaving somewhere else cause finding a job is a nightmare.

Салам, хотя бы базовый английский нужен, т.к. приходится общатся со службой поддержки очень часто. А так, без проблем.

Which city were you delivering btw?
Espoo
My friend, where are you from?
how can i get a wolt account to start working?
You need to apply to become Wolt courier, or find a substitute account - if you're in Finland that is.

Everyone that applies has a work permit, so it’s the same queue.
