when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. that's why today, i bring you a book unhaul series vlog that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i got recently and me losing my mind over some of the new book releases coming this year. booktube and booktok have buzzed about some of these books… let’s see if i’ll enjoy them. i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2025!

I only added This is how you lose the Time War to my TBR quite recently, but listening to you talk about it has made me really excited to get to it! 🐦🐦🐦
I started reading “This is how you lose the time war” but I just couldn’t get into it. I think I just wasn’t in the right mindset. But I def want to give it a try again
I enjoyed This is How You Lose the Time War but it took me 2 tries to get into it. The prose was just not within my wheelhouse and it probably took me a few chapters before I felt like I got it.

I am no longer reading one piece eventhough its my favorite manga of all time. Usually I check the community to read some summary to catch up the plot line, forget it for a while, then repeat the same process 😄

pausing in the beginning to say this about One Piece. I have heard some things that make me think POSSIBLY I would like the manga better than the show. I absolutely can not stand the anime. Granted, there are a million episodes and I can't even force myself to get very far. The first time I made it to episode 3 and I didn't like a single character and found literally zero things interesting. But I love my sweet boyfriend more than anything so I tried so hard for him to restart the show because he loves it and I got to episode 10 I think and I was having such a horrible time that he finally told me we didn't have to watch it anymore. 😭
