    Is it possible to do this technique on a 200 g/m² paper (90lbs)? Would be possible to scratch like you do? Amazing work!

    Hi, I was wondering if you could tell me the brand and model name of the drawing table you use? It seemed that you were able to step it down for the next line in a measured way?

    Amazing..., What paper do you use Sir? I want to try

    • @MichaelHalbert1952
      @MichaelHalbert1952  5 лет назад

      Ampersand Claybord, 1/8 inch thick. It's not paper, it's white clay on a type of hardboard. Do a search for it to find more info about how it's made and used.

    What paper do you use in the illustrations? Thank you

  • @СергейСтроганов-л1х

    Hi. Can you tell me what paper to use for this picture, or how to prepare it?

    • @MichaelHalbert1952
      @MichaelHalbert1952  6 лет назад +1

      Ampersand ClayBord, 1/8 inch thick. It's white so you can coat the whole area with a thin coat of India ink if you want, or you can limit the coating to small areas. Or you can leave it white and ink on it like a regular pen and ink.

      It's a HAFF Crosshatch machine. They don't make it anymore, but you might be able to find used one on eBay.
