Greetings. These presentations are wonderful, and very helpful for me in my studies. Could you please make available all the sounds/letters in English in this extended format? I and we are grateful for your generosity.

I think you should explain how each gesture came about; Did Steiner look at the Alphabet and work into an imagination, or did he take the starting point the sound of the letter. i understand he first started to work with the alphabet for teachers, to make the process 'a-living', but it must surely be a two way process. whatever caused speech must be found and then be reformed? what is as impulse, is then, in the human will formed, and must be reversed in thinking through the will. this is shown when you appeal; "With your hands, through the hands, through your arms, and grasp" that is as i understand it... i am not a Eurythmist though!

There is no such letter in English. I think you mean sound. Not letter.

Strange! do you mean that the alphabetical A in spoken UK English is a diphthong or a Monophthong? as in Ae or Car or AHH!? but steiner was german so the vowels are Pure. BUT we must communicate, so the gesture is used for English as for German. it is a spiritual gesture based on what the Pure Monophthong letter when spoken sounds like so you are correct if, when i say "the letter A" ( AEyyy), it wouldn't correspond to the spiritual reality of A as Steiner had envisaged/ imagined. in that sense, chose the German or Maori sound as a basis.
